nickforthreee - perfect fits for certain teams

***I DID NOT DO EVERY PICK, I ONLY DID PICKS THAT I FEEL LIKE ARE CAN'T MISS PERFECT FITS FOR EACH TEAM***

1. Charlotte Bobcats - Anthony Davis, PF
- The Bobcats need Star-power, and Davis has already drawn Kevin Garnett comparisons.

2. Washington Wizards - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, SF
- The Wizards need a lot, but the thing they need most is leadership, and who wouldn't want to see John Wall and MKG run the break?

3. Cleveland Cavaliers - Bradley Beal, SG
- Beal almost seems like he was tailor made to run a backcourt with Kyrie Irving.

4. New Orleans Hornets - Thomas Robinson, PF
- The Hornets need to move past the CP3 era, Robinson is a competitor who will get this team moving in the right direction.

5. Sacramento Kings - Andre Drummond, C
- He is a risky pick, but DeMarcus Cousins and Andre Drummond would dominate the paint together.

6. Portland Trailblazers - Damian Lillard, PG
- Drummond would be ideal here, but after losing out on him the blazers would look to fill their next biggest hole, and that's a point guard. He can flat out score and would mesh well with LaMarcus Aldrigge

7. Golden State Warriors - Perry Jones III, SF/PF
- An athletic freak who could be top 3 talent if he applied himself, the warriors will take a gamble.

8. Toronto Raptors - Harrison Barnes, SF
- He can flat out score and would have the Raptors looking like a legit playoff squad.

10. New Orleans Hornets - Kendall Marshall, PG
- Great facilitator and floor general... Sounds familiar

11. Portland Trailblazers - Jeremy Lamb, SG
- Could turn out to be a star and with Lillard, Lamb, and Aldridge your looking at a potent blazers squad.

12. Milwaukee Bucks - Jared Sullinger, PF
- Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis need someone to throw it in the post to, and there is no better post player in this draft.

13. Phoenix Suns - Austin Rivers, SG
- Steve Nash is headed elsewhere and the Suns need to sell tickets, Austin Rivers seems to have that star player quality, question is if he can back it up on the court. Only time will tell.

14. Houston Rockets - Terrence Jones, PF
- Marcus Morris hasn't panned out, matter of fact, Marcus Morris hasn't left the bench. Rockets will take another stab at it here.

17. Dallas Mavericks - Quincy Miller, SF
- I love this selection for the Mavericks, Quincy could give the Mavericks everything Lamar Odom was supposed to.

18. Minnesota Timberwolves - Terrence Ross, SG
- The T-Wolves need a 2-guard, and Ross is the best available at this point. Rubio, Love, Ross, and D-Will would have the wolves thinking playoffs.

21. Boston Celtics - Arnett Moultrie, PF
- With KG as a mentor, Moultrie could turn out to be the steal of the draft.

26. Indiana Pacers - Marquis Teague, PG
- Indiana native, Teague could turn out to be as explosive as his big bro down in ATL.

27. Miami Heat - Fab Melo, C
- They need a center, period.

28. Oklahoma City Thunder - Doron Lamb, SG
- Shooter off the bench, They have Daequan Cook but for some reason they don't seem to high on him.

29. Chicago Bulls - John Jenkins, SG
- Best shooter in this draft, could help take the 3-point pressure off of Kyle Korver.

We're going to need a 5th big more than a replacement for D Cook (his shot runs hot/cold). I like Andrew Nicholson for the notSonics if he's still there. Agree that Doron Lamb is a good fit. But so would be Jeff Taylor.
notSonics 2016
Starters - Trey, Roberson, KD, Ibaka, Adams
Rotation - Payne, Waiters, Green, McGary, Kanter
Bench - Collison, Christon, Brodgon, Huestis
Stash - Johnson, Abrine
Cut - Morrow
Trade - Singler
Draft - Brogdon
FA - Green

I like the effort you put in there. Good picks all around. No complaints from me.

2. Washington Wizards - Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, SF
- The Wizards need a lot, but the thing they need most is leadership, and who wouldn't want to see John Wall and MKG run the break?

I believe with Wall's incompetence shooting from the perimeter that the Wizards really do need a dependable outside shooter this draft. I'd have Beal or Barnes ahead of MKG for them this draft, even if it was a trade-down scenario for them

5. Sacramento Kings - Andre Drummond, C
- He is a risky pick, but DeMarcus Cousins and Andre Drummond would dominate the paint together.

Mufasa also has Drummond as the pick for Sacramento, and now I see it a second time I wanna point out that Cousins is a perfectly legit size for NBA center. He also gives more matchup problems playing at center. I think again Barnes would be the better pick for Sacramento, or T-Rob if available. Their wing situation isn't quite right so Barnes could help fix that and give them a trading chip in Thornton or Evans, while T-Rob coming in as an older rookie would give them a more experienced guy whos motor, hustle and demeanor could be a good thing for Cousins.

6. Portland Trailblazers - Damian Lillard, PG
- Drummond would be ideal here, but after losing out on him the blazers would look to fill their next biggest hole, and that's a point guard. He can flat out score and would mesh well with LaMarcus Aldrigge

Huge gamble here IMO, Lillard's lack of floor general capabilities would hurt the Blazers. Just like Felton fell off after being "hot" in New York, can see this being a bust for Portland's current roster.

Overall a good read though :)
