Re: IMO Dwight situation not yet over.
Honestly, the back injury doesn't scare me, because I really do think Howard is going to be back pretty much 100%. He keeps himself in great shape and he's young. And from what I've read about it, doctors have said that he should be perfectly fine. Even if he takes a few games off every year from now on as a result, that's really not a big deal as long as he physically returns to what he was.
But yeah, i could be wrong, and he could be a diminished version of what he was...but an 80% Dwight Howard is still the best big man in the league (maybe not by much any more though), and is still probably a top 5 player. You still make the trade for that kind of player.
But if it's true that Howard has lost a little something, then you definitely have to give trading away Davis (if we're lucky enough to land him) a ton of thought, because I'm believing more and more that this kid is going to be a superstar. Not to mention that with Davis, Wallace, and a healthy Lopez for a full year, assuming Deron resigns...we're probably a top 4-5 team in the East, and will only get better. But if Howard does come back 100%, like I expect, then we have to make the trade, even if we land Davis.

If we get Davis he has to remain a Net. If Howard wants to come them move anybody and everyone else to get him via trade.
But don't send away a top top top stud prospect to bring in Howard.
Williams
Brooks
Wallace
Davis
Lopez
Is a very good team with the likes of Green, Morrow, Bogdanovic and some cap room to bring in more players like KG, Kidd, Allen, AK47.
I just wouldn't in a rush to trade a player who looks to be a superstar of the future, who is locked in long term as a Net if taking 1st overall on a rookie deal.
Send anything Orlando wants outside Davis and Williams. Brooks, Wallace, maybe a resigned Hump, Lopez, expiring contracts like Morrow Farmar.
If they say no then move on with a lineup that will win games and be a threat in the playoffs.
A Davis, Lopez big man combo could be beast. Davis is an amazing defender and the fact he's invited to the USA squad for the Olympics for trails should tell you this kid will be a star.
Howard + back injury + huge contract + cost of trade, doesn't = Davis + keep any assets + rookie contract + brow.
Plus we could even create cap room for a max with that lineup above by trading Crash and Lopez for picks if Howard was going to hit the free agent market on 2013.
A top 3 pick puts us in a great spot regardless. We can bring in more talent and really make our lineup on opening night in Brooklyn a dangerous playoff team.

Bucher thinks we're favorites over LA? That's it, Dwight is going to LA.

I wonder what the Giants have to say? Oh I know you're thinking about the New York Giants, but what I'm really talking about is the San Francisco Giants...fooled you there, didn't I?
...Oh come on, it's not like Howard can't be swayed to play for either team.

Yeah, I know. I'm the one that leaked that rumor after Howard and I played MLB 12: The Show.

@JRudolphSports You think ford was accurate when he said stan and otis will be gone within days? Where u think stan lands?
9h Jarrod N Rudolph @JRudolphSports
@TheRealJGeller: Ford? Yes, as I wrote last week, a GM change is coming, may be Foyle or someone else, but it's coming. And SVG is cooked.
@JRudolphSports Two grown men (Stan and @DwightHoward) with similar goals should be able to talk out their differences and move forward.
9h Jarrod N Rudolph @JRudolphSports
@JoeKepner: The issues w/ the Magic go deeper than Dwight vs Stan. There are management issues that always seem to hurt the product.

Anyone see this, Alex Kennedy from Hoopswprld and people from the Knicks blog, I know consider the source, but they think Dwight Howard and Phil Jackson could be Brooklyn-bound this summer. I don't care for Avery and don't want him in Brooklyn, especially if the Nets are fortunate enough to acquire Dwight, should he become available.

I just want to say sorry again for getting your guys hopes up. Dwight is not coming to BKL. I know some will be pissed for me saying this, but, don't get your hopes up, trust me, it is not a good feeling when it does not happen, as you all know. Dwight loves ORL, his heart wants to stay in ORL, its all up to the FO. Its not like D12, hates it here, he loves ORL. Big differance, from a player wanting out to a player who loves where he is at, but wan't to see his team improve.

Is this for real or is this a Orlando fan parody account?
Show me anything that indicates Howard wants to stay with the Magic long term, quotes or anything. Howard will be traded before next season starts, it could be Brooklyn but might not be but he won't be with the Magic.

Bro, you can't even spell difference correctly.
