I think it's time for Woodson just to tell these guys to go to see the Wizard.

Amar'e can get a low post game.
Melo can get a nutritionist.
Lin get a contract.

Could they get a heart and a brain too while they're there?

Sorry for using English. When a player who relies on athleticism to score loses some of that athleticism, they add additional skills to compensate. That's the idea of this thread. It's not complicated, and your comments about defense and rebounding are completely irrelevant.

You made up a basketball term.

as far as the post moves, I totally agree, even if its just one move starting off like blakes spin bank off the board move

then he's worthless

off him now.

get him off this team. We don't need him if he's only going to play 1 side of the court.

So let me get this straight:

There is no hope for Amare
There is no hope for Melo
There is no hope for Woodson

No one was taking it before this bulging disc problem because his contract is uninsured. No one will insure it, except for maybe my buddy Carmine from South Philly. Now, with this disc issue ... lol.

This was Amares worst season since his rookie year, excluding the one where he got injured. I dont think he is on the decline though. He can be dominant again but they need to run more plays for him, he needs to be more assertive himself as well as building some chemistry with Lin this off season because he should be the main person feeding him the ball.

But couldn't we trade him on the basis of a bulging dick? Somebody is going to want that.

Just so everyone is clear I'm fairly sure it's only his knees that are uninsured.

It's his contract that's uninsured, it isn't knee injury dependent.

Knickswiththeknack encourages Woodson to add plays to his playbook that include more than "ISO Melo".

No one ever asked me to defend or rebound or develop a post-game. I didn't think anyone cared about me. Wah!

But, gee golly wiz, now that someone really does care, I'm gonna work real hard and do just that, oh boy, yesiree bob!

Well, he himself has to know that he can't rely on his face up game anymore and needs to adjust. In prior years skill development probably took a backseat to conditioning because he could still be effective. This summer needs to be about skill development. He'll be out of the league in 3 years if he doesn't...
