thanks ICH. I was posting it because I honestly didn't quite understand. I read the e-mail about 40 times trying to see if I really, honestly missed something. I know it wasn't you that sent it, but I was trying to figure out what happened.

Can't wait to start drafting players two at a time. I'm only at a real disadvantage in terms of lacking a franchise star. I'll have a lot more fun running my team this way though.

hey i don't know if it's been discussed, or if it's even an issue, but i'm assuming we're going with this year's salary for players and not next year's.

or are we using next years, and if someone's contract has expired, we're just using their last known salary per year for the BAT 7

i've contemplated doing the same thing with my #4 pick. i'd prefer to have a more well balanced team, but i know that most people (judges) will believe that the best teams need a franchise/take over the game type of player: lakers, mavs, etc, as opposed to team play: spurs, pistons ('04)
