So many haters.

Watch the speech rather than an excerpt, it's pretty moving given that it's mostly unrehearsed and you can see the raw emotion Lebron has for the game and the appreciation he has for the people that helped him get into his privileged position.

I don't see what there is in that to make fun of. He's giving props to his mother.

We've all had our moments giving Lebron the business for punking the Knicks and Cleveland and being a flopmeister, but let's face it, he has proven it on the court. He's simply an amazing ballplayer. He doesn't have to be a brilliant orator, but he sure plays intelligently. He's a smarter ball player than just about everyone else in the league. He just happened to have all the physical gifts to take his superior approach to the game and turn himself into the best ballplayer in the world. He gets my respect for that.

For real, if I was a 3 time MVP making that kind of money, I would have just went up there, and said "3 time MVP, nuff said". Then walked out. Something along the lines of this:

I hate how Lebron basically took a shortcut to getting his ring, but I can't hate on the guy's game or him as a person. He's genuinely a good guy. You don't hear about him getting caught up in any of the nonsense that many athletes get caught up in. And having been raised by a single mother myself, I can understand how close he is to his mom regardless of whatever she may have done in the past. Nice to see that he's somewhat humble and respectful at receiving the award. If he had strutted out there on some "you mad, bro" ish then he'd be a jerk. He plays it on the humble and he's mocked regardless.

I'm still waiting for that part that's suppose to be "funny."

it's funny how he says he doesn't need a cheat sheet cause he's trying to cheat his way to a ring. He loves cheating.

I always found it funny. But what was the origin? Was it on Letterman or did some random dude make this.

Its a shortcut...but its not "cheating"

Any team would have taken those 3 guys. And lets be honest...Its not like they are a great fit either. Bosh isnt the player he was in Toronto. And Wade/LeBron still have trouble in the half court.

Its easier for the Heat....but it isnt easy..
