Gasol

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Mon May 14, 2012 1:34 am

No, not Pau...the other one! The one whom we signed to a deal before this season before the Grizzlies matched it.

What is the cap situation in Memphis like now? I know that they have a lot of high-priced players, so would they be willing to move Marc; and if so, what would it take from Houston to get him?

Already we are at a disadvantage trade-wise because our biggest trading piece - Lowry - is probably not someone that they'd want with the way that Conley is playing for them.

What would it take?

Not gonna happen.

I think they would want to build on him and Zbo, i know he is getting up in age but he still has what 5 years at AS level.

Rudy Gay is the one I see as the odd man out.

they'd be stupid to trade gasol for any combo of our players. we'd need a 3rd team for them to even consider giving us gasol

They need a productive swingman pretty badly but nothing on the Rockets might interest them much. Rudy Gay's max contract and OJ Mayo will be the ones on the display window for the summer.

they will trade either Randolph or Gay
since they can't get these two playing well together

their 3pts shooting is awful
i think they will do Martin for Gay

I would do Gay for Martin.

Gay would be the new Battier where we would just keep trading him back and forth among each other.

Gay + Parsons on the wing...

We never signed Gasol to a deal and the Grizzlies did not match it.

This is a common misconception.
