Top 10 2012 prospects

1. Anthony Davis: no need to explain why, some say next garnett others say camby either way you cant lose.

2. Thomas Robinson: Not the greatest number 2 prospect but in a draft like this where so many prospects are gonna get picked based off potential alone, robinson is one of the few safe top 5 picks as far as risk of being a bust goes. The biggest thing that will determine if he stays number 2 will be how tall and long he measures at combine. A lot of people compare him to d.williams of the wolves but he's a much better inside presence than d.will(although hes less polished on the perimeter).

3. Michael K. Gilchrist: Hee does all the small things a ball player should do offensively and defensively. A good athlete with good strength as well. Reminds me a lot of a slightly less athletic andre iguodala.

4. Jeremy Lamb: I know most people view lambs stock as having fallen. But with his wingspan mixed with his shooting and solid ball skills i see his stock booming once workouts start. He may never be a number one option but if klay thompson can score at a good clip in the nba than i expect lamb to atleast be good for 18+ a game easily.

5. Andre Drummond: He's lucky that this draft is kinda weak on star power because POTENTIAL is the only reason why a guy who had the type of season he had should even sniff the lottery. He's got great size and can jump very high for a man his size(6'11 275+). Also has shown decent ability defending the rim at times. Despite great athleticism he has a terrible motor and gets out hustled on both ends of the floor. At times last year he looked like the ball was the last thing he wanted on offense. Biggest high risk high reward selection in draft. At best he turns out to be a more athletic al jefferson imo. I see a bust though.

6. Brad Beal: He has become a bit overrated. Not as great a shooter as some have made him to be. Below average size and length but has strength and hustle to be a decent defender. More smooth than explosive. I wonder will he be able to get to the rim in the nba?...value wise doron lamb may end up being looked at as the better pick

7. Harrison Barnes: Not the player wveryone expected him to be but solid college career none the less. Despite good length not a very good man defender. A lights out scorer when his shot is on. When its off hes a nonfactor. Will be a steal if he gets his act together on defense and develops some kind of offensive go-to move.

8. Tyler Zeller: Great size for a nba center and also has above average mobility. He should be able to add to his frame and his college basketball experience should help lead to him eventually being a factor on both sides of the court.

9. Terrence Jones: Propably wont get picked this high but he was one of kentucky's best players the past two years. Reminds me of jeff green.

10. Arnett Moultrie: Good frame and athletecism. Has shown ability to knock down mid-rand j. At this point his bball iq is somewhat low. reminds me of andray blatche but ive only watched him play a few times so this night not be the best comparison.

Hey lamb has way more potential on defense than beal does. What makes beal such a great prospect in your opinion? I like dude but in no way shape or form is he close to being on ray allens level like some of you guys think. Maybe he can be Ben Gordon...but no way is he coming close to ray allen in his prime. He didnt even shoot all that great last year...and last but not least hes a 6'3 2 guard without great length or explosive athleticism.

No it isn't. He is taller and has a longer wingspan. Beal is an undersized SG.

Beal is so overrated I mean look at his production he ain't no scorer where the **** did all these Ray Allen, Ben Gordon. or Eric Gordon comparisons appear he didn't even shoot that well from 3 point land. Hes an all around SG that rebounds surprising well but lacks athleticism and height. Solid player but not a difference maker.

Arnett Moultrie is so underrated, he is a top 10 pick in my opinion.

elite athlete, great rebounding ability ,great size for his position and a nice inside-outside game. I don't care how mock drafts rank him, all these journalists or "analysts" are bribed anyway , and Moultrie IMO is a safer bet than Sullinger, Henson or PJIII if u consider the red flags they have

Andray Blatche or Jason Thompson is his worst case scenario, while his best case can be LaMarcus Aldridge

From the excessive readings and subsequent personal analysis, the combination of;

age, size, work-ethic, current skill-level, natural physical gifts and long-term potential, not only does Meyers Leonard ooze top 10 talent, but is top 3 long-term prospect really that far-fetched of a thought?

Warriors are apparently interested (=1-3, 7th pick). Time for the blazers to capitalize on Warriors' impudence/candor consecutively if the #6 is theirs? Sold fan typing.
