Most Heartbreaking or Exhilarating Suns moment, memories
Thought it would be interesting to have a thread, since we don't have any Suns moments this postseason. I was posting in a thread on the general nba discussion board about series deciding shots, and posted about this one.... viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1180785&p=31771605#p31771605
The only other moments I can clearly remember right now were from two playoff games I attended. I was actually at the Suns/Spurs game in SA when Horry gave the hip check. I think I may have been one of the only Suns fans there.
Another great moment was a 97 playoff game against the Sonics when Rex Chapman hit the most unbelievable 3 pt shot I think I've ever seen (definitely best one live) at the end of the game.

How about you? What moments do you most remember?

Nothing more to add.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

and also more recent than the others, so stings harder...and that season was so crazy, with wins against the odds and all... that was really painful, specially for me as I was living in Boston by that time and truly hoping I would be able to watch those finals live.

I've lived all these and can't decide which one hurt more.
Paxson's three.
Mario Ellie's three.
Duncan's three/Manu's layup.

I'm going to be honest:
The last two years I've tried to block out the memory of that shot. I don't watch it on youtube and when I see it on TV, I just turn the channel. But it really sucks. It really does.

Artest's putback was like a punch to the gut because Phoenix had no chance to return the favor. Makes me sick to think about.
Paxon will always be mentioned because it was the go-ahead, but Phoenix did have another possession after that play.

Surprised no one has mentioned Rex Chapman's three. I've enjoyed a lot of other moments - but that one takes the cake.

On Steve Nash:

Indeed, a great moment. Obviously that one is spoiled a little because the Suns lost.

I did, in the original post, unless you are talking about a different one.

You pretty much nailed it.
For me personally I'd add when the Suns traded Nash, that devastated me when I was a teenager. Also, in the 1992 Playoffs we lost a 2OT game in the Western Semi's to Portland 151-153 when I was 9. That was the game that made me a Suns fan and the first game I really remember pulling for the Suns. My brother and I watched the game with the volume turned down since it was really late .
I just realized that game was almost exactly 20 years ago, wow, make's me feel old. Lol.

Reminds me of a vivid memory I had. In KJ's second year, we knocked out Magic and the Lakers in 5 in the second round, which was awesome (they had pretty much played in like 9 of the past 10 nba finals) but we met up with Drexler and Portland in the WCF, and lost two EXTREMELY close games in Portland for the first two. I was in high school at the time, but went to Rocky Point for Memorial Day Weekend, and when I got there, and walked into JJ Cantina, I looked up to see the final of game 3, where the Suns were victorious 123-89. We lost the first two games by a total of three points. But we still lost the series. It pissed me off we couldn't win the close ones.
The series went like this:
Game 1 Mon, May 21 Phoenix Suns 98 @ Portland Trail Blazers 100
Game 2 Wed, May 23 Phoenix Suns 107 @ Portland Trail Blazers 108
Game 3 Fri, May 25 Portland Trail Blazers 89 @ Phoenix Suns 123
Game 4 Sun, May 27 Portland Trail Blazers 107 @ Phoenix Suns 119
Game 5 Tue, May 29 Phoenix Suns 114 @ Portland Trail Blazers 120
Game 6 Thu, May 31 Portland Trail Blazers 112 @ Phoenix Suns 109

As you can also see in the link above, that was the last year before Jordan took over the league, where is Bulls lost in 7 to the Pistons in the ECF. None of those games were even particularly close.

Was going to post this. Epic shot.
Amare and marbury's shots against the spurs were pretty awesome.
