its been a rule forever, it keeps people from slowing down the game.

everyone usually has plenty time to trade it before there selection.

also gotta make the pick official in the draft pick thread

Well guess what?- Bat gm's, vet gm's at that- "slow" the game down for other reasons!

I agree with knicksfan20 the rule should be revisited at the very least.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed to a deal.

Timberwolves send their 2nd and 3rd round picks (48 and 73) for the Bobcats 1st and 9th (26 and 244).

he's allotted 6 hours. if it's that much of a pain, change the hours.

i'm not on anyone's side. but judging by how slow things are going this time (not because of KF20, but because people just haven't been on and picking quickly), maybe it should be looked at

10 8 5 2.2 steals while being a lock up defender at age 20? Yea... a bit of a reach at pick 20. Rubio shoulda been a 15-22nd pick.

I don't think the Rubio pick was really a reach. He was going to get picked relatively soon anyway. VERY good defender, elite passer, elite court vision, and is a jump shot away from being one of the top point guards in the NBA.

As for the not trading the pick on the clock -- it's so we don't have 12 hours spent on one pick.

:-o

He's an above average defender, I'll give you that. But he is also a rookie which means not much big game experience yet.

Still a decent pick, but just imo a bit of a reach.

For someone as unathletic as Rubio is, the injury won't change the way he plays/affect him much. lol

has to do with him having only 41 games played for a entire career in which he has been injured 33%. Not saying he isnt a talent.

edit: same could be said about kyrie irving to an extent.

and kyrie irving. Had them about even on my board. Glad 1 dropped. Both will be elite players. Good pick by whoever got him.

That Rubio pick is almost as bad as the Rondo pick.
