We'll see if this becomes a trend. Until then, i don't want to think about refs.

Do any of you complaining about fouls know basketball? Have you actually played? There's a foul almost every play in this game. I've played on the high school and college level and there are a lot of fouls thought the game. Most the ref doesn't see if your a good enough player to play it off. Also please show me where Lebron or Wade fouled the other day and wasn't called for it?

We miss you, Jeff.

We need you, Deron or Eric.

Bad officiating or not, when Lebron and Wade took matters into their own hands in the 4th, we just didn't have an answer.

Yes, no matter what, Wade and Lebron simply took over in the 2nd half, especially in the 4th. If Danny and Paul aren't able to shoot well, we are not long for this series.

Alot of fouls don't get called and I can understand that considering the amount of fouls that take place, often on a single play at that. It does not excuse blatantly obvious calls such as the basket David West got off an inbounds in the second half. Should have been 2 plus the foul. That's just an example but we had 5 or so baskets that should've had a FT coming afterward.

All things considered, I just hope for a fairly officiated game 2. With a fairly officiated game, we could have this series tied up coming back to Indy. I hope Bosh comes back. The Heat looked a lot better without him. When he plays, that's less that LBJ and DW have the ball and shoot. May just be an aberration but with that said, I'd rather him be playing for a multitude of reasons.

We need to get most of our points in the paint and limit the threes, when Miami run, they get momentum, they get everything going. We need them to play our pace and exploit the opportunities we could get from our bigs. If we keep on settling for long shots, Miami would get 75% of those long rebounds and kill us on transition.

We did well last night actually. We were just unable to stop Lebron and Wade.

Beware those that troll this board or feed the trolls throughout this series. Let's keep it civil for the benefit of all parties,

Miami got alot of calls, but the difference is Miami has two players who can close the show, I thought Granger would be able to step up and answer the call but he doesn't seem to be that guy. I now believe that when the game is going down to the wire, the first option should be David West.
I wasnt impressed with George, he played very timid, the weak reverse layup attempt that Wade blocked was an example of how he just played soft to me. George and Granger are the two biggest disappointments to me though. If this team cannot find one man who will answer the call to make big plays down the stretch you have no chance vs Miami. Hansborough maybe another guy who has the toughness to come through in the clutch. Good luck though.

I wonder what changes Bird is going to make if Miami starts Lebron at 4. I mean Vogel. Frank Bird.

I don't mind some smallball with West at center or Granger at PF. It would help our help defense quite a bit and we could use another wing to defend Lebron or Wade so George or Granger can focus more on offense.

Pacers need to cut down on turn overs
get the ball inside more
more side to side action..
i don't think they need major changes
