Slightly off topic, but IMHO this is THE image of this weekend

I was only able to watch the first half but Bayern Munich digged their own grave there. Badstuber, Boateng, Luiz Gustavo were all horrible which essentially resulted in 3 goals against.

Munich was the better team but it doesn't help when your defense makes mistakes that are simply inexcusable.

Relegation part 2: after 57 minutes, Düsseldorf and Berlin are at 1-1, and Hertha is only playing with 10. Ben-Hatira shows (yet again) that he makes important goals, but destroys his work by having the soccer maturity of a turnip.

Berlin refuses to go down, 2-2 with 5 minutes left. And again, fireworks shot down onto the pitch. Hertha and Fortuna players pleading to the "fans" to let the game continue :banghead: :banghead:

On topic, Fortuna is up by 1 man, but they are just massively choking. The simply refuse to play soccer, no pass is completed.

Pure anarchy on the pitch. Lell fighting Lukimya. This is simply shameful. This is the most absurd scene I have ever witnessed in German soccer

The game is halted until the pitch is cleared.

Already now, this is the worst on pitch scandal in German soccer I have ever seen.

I am calling it now: neither Berlin nur Düsseldorf should play 1. Bundesliga - instead, St. Pauli should get promoted.

Now the game is FORMALLY finished. Düsseldorf outlasted Hertha 2-2, welcome Bundesliga.

But this game has the aftertaste of toxic waste mixed with rotting cabbage and infected diarrhea.

Now, the lawyers will come into play, and for ONCE, I welcome them.

  :censored: :censored: :sigh: :sigh:

The Bundesliga season ends on two disgusting notes.

Yesterday, relegation Karlsruhe vs Regensburg - 75 injured.

Today, relegation Fortuna vs Berlin - utter chaos, firework bombardements, full scale pitch invasion BEFORE THE GAME ENDED!! Two inches away from total anarchy.

Is relegation really necessary? After yesterday and today, I say no. It just attracts too many idiots.

I love the relegation. If fans continue with their completely unnecessary idiotic behaviour it will not last longer than the upcoming season, though.

To throw beer pints on the refs? :dontknow:

Germany has a growing hooligan problem. I don't like it.

Don't expect anything to happen after Hertha's protest. The DFL would have to change their rules to make a "ghost rematch" as the ref has correctly ended the game after stoppage time. They never make any - but stupid - rule changes.

Hopefully, both teams get -3 points for stupid fan behaviour. That's probably the only way you can stop these chaots if they see that they harm their team.

Yes, sir. He's overrated anyway, IMO. Reus is definitely an upgrade over him.

Maybe, but Dortmund will find necessary to add more creativity to their midfield, to supplant Kagawa's absence. Reus is a better finisher and is more pacey, but Kagawa had better touch and was a more elusive offensive player, either Gotze will have to grow in order to fill the role, or take Grosskreutz out in order to increse their passing ability. Assuming of course, Klopp keeps their 4-4-1-1 formation.

Today, the DFL should have decided whether the scandalous Düsseldorf - Hertha game will be replayed. However, no decision was taken (pushed to Monday 15h), and some extremely unsavoury details surfaced:

* Referee Stark described that in the dugout, Hertha players Kobiashvili, Lell, Mijatovic, Kraft "and someone I could not see" tried to beat him up. Lell called him a "w-nker" and grabbed his arm, Mijatovic called him "a sh-thead", and Kobiashvili actually landed a sucker punch at his head which nearly sent Stark down a flight of stairs.
* Stark's report was confirmed by his assistant. Also, Stark filed criminal papers vs Kobiashvili for assault.
* Hertha player Kraft (the one listed above) said that he was "yelled, spat and swore at" by the Fortuna fans, and was fearing for his safety. Hertha assistant coach Ante Covic said that "he was crying with fear" with players Raffael and Ronny.
* Hertha defendant Schickhardt said that the "Hertha players were paralyzed with fear for their lives", and did not say how Stark's account fits this picture. Also, he accused the judge of being anti-Hertha.

Man, I am pretty neutral on this issue but still am very disgusted. If the accusation vs Kobiashvili are right, and he is not banned for at least half a season, something is seriously wrong

I am calling it: the result will be upheld, so that Fortuna promotes and Hertha relegates - and both will start with -3 points for their long list of transgressions.
