Playoffs Game 2 : Pacers @ Heat, 7:00 EST Tuesday

Post#1 » by Nuntius » Tue May 15, 2012 10:31 pm

In less than a hour Game 2 will start. So, this will be our game thread.

What the Pacers should do in Game 2?

Capitalize on Chris Bosh's absence. Blitz their paint and force THEM to be in foul trouble for once. Danny and PG have to find their shooting touch today. Let's also hope that Fesenko is not going to be inactive tonight since his 6 fouls may prove useful.

And just to honor M4E's tradition.

I present you the girls:

Strong starts. The Pacers weren'tgood at them at the beginning of the season, but now we got a handle on em. Good job, Nun.

I just do not understand these persistant long droughts.
They do it against everyone so it's not great D.
They are getting decent shots.

we're throwing bricks, our rim's nearly swollen.
what's with the missed jumpers? the guys look nervous, crap, they don't have confidence in their shots.

More inside game, Vogel! No other way to do it, IMO.

Really? Is that not a charge by Wade?
West several feet from the rim, didn't leave his feet, arms straight up.
Knee to the gut by a guy flying toward the basket.
If that's a foul, heals on the line or what ever that just sucks.
TOOOO much advantage to the offense.
Makes the Pro game just look stupid.

This is frustrating. If we keep on playing like this, we'll have no chance.

Forgive my rant, i only had 4 hours of sleep these past two days, and i'm watching crap.
This makes me want to trade Granger for Deron Williams right now. I am now convinced we need a better, more experienced point guard.

Look at that, 7 straight points basically by getting inside the paint and not hovering too much on the perimeter.

After an awful 2nd quarter we're only down 5. I'll take it. I hope that our shot is going to return in the second half.

A couple of layups can turn things around for pacers.

Hope Vogel plays more inside. Outside shots should only be results of kick-out passes from big men posting up. More Hibbert, more West.

Unless we get fouled and it doesn't get called.

Once again, no call on our end leads to a fast break and a...foul called on their end.

Just two or three such possessions a game like that and the league owns the series.

Every player gets the message. They can be aggressive, we cannot.

Why in the world did Vogel replaced Hibbert by Barbosa???? We were starting to get a hold on the interior, now it'll be gone in seconds.

Doesn't matter, every Pacer is godlike in this third quarter.

I hope we start attacking again. We cannot build leads and then go into safe mode.

Wade was so disappointed in not getting his regular star call that he had to put a cheap foul on DC. He then had the nerve to argue the call. Spoelstra (sp) should have gotten a T. Go Pacers!
