Running plays for MM/SB??

How about actually getting those guys involved rather than just giving them a handful of jump shots?

They're involved in every play. They are an alternative when the big two cut or slash.

There don't need to be primary plays for secondary players.

Anyway if they can't knock down wide open uncontested jumpers why would we plan any more for them?
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

My thinking is they can't all of a sudden be terrible at scoring. Being involved in everyplay certainly doesn't mean that that play is designated for them.

I see the Heat running plays for JJ/MM. But happens rarely. As the game goes on, it becomes ISO offense where Bron/Wade is at the top of the key, trying to create offense off the dribble.

This is why our role players can't get any 3 point buckets. It's really easy to defend and close out on 3 point shots when our guys are just standing around the 3 point line looking at Bron and Wade playing ISO ball.

The only way I can see our guys getting 3pt shots is we get in transition or we move the ball around more effectively.

They run plays for MM and he bricks the shots. Hard to trust him enough to run more plays for him. MM and SB both shoot more shots per game than Kyle Korver does for the Bulls. Yet aren't nearly as reliable.

They're getting enough shots for their role. They just need to make them. If MM made the easy shots he gets, he'd get more shots.

you know that curl play that Heat does for MM? It looks like the Celtics play they do for Ray Allen.

Ray Allen literally sprints around curls and through screens but MM is like running 75% man... that's why his defender gets there fast enough to close out on MM.

We use to run a catch and shoot for Miller. A midrange one. It use to be automatic too.

We just don't run anything in general.... this team has regressed offensively.

It could be the Pacers too. It's been awhile since we were up against a team with a good defensive plan and they do have a good defense. From rebounding to blockshotting, and they are quick.

We should move the ball side to side too, just like they do.

HEAT, Y U NO MOVE THE BALL?
