Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXIII: Offseason Editio
I'm just imagining Otis sitting in Alex's office right now mumbling in his resignation after being coerced by Martins.

I do hope that the Magic are doing as much research into Dwight's back injury as possible and make sure they understand if there are any significant problems that may arise from "taking out the biggest bone" the doctor had ever seen with this injury. (

If the report is true that Otis is meeting with Alex today, I am getting a little nervous that no firing has happend yet. Almost 1pm east coast. I don't trust this ownership

Afaik, Otis and SVG each still have 1 more year left on their respective contracts.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXIII: Offseason Editio
The reason this has taken so long, if you consider this taking a long time, is that both Otis and SVG are under contract next year. No doubt they'd have announced their departure by now if they weren't under contract, by saying, Otis and SVG will not return with the Magic next season. But with contracts, things take time, there is negotiations that need to happen.

Well i keep reading that pritchard is a good gm. Mcmillan is more of a move to appease the players, not sure about his x and o's tbh.

Not sure if this was posted yet. Good interview of Michael Malone. I like his emphasis on defense.
