In Haslems defense, how long would you last if your main job has been to take charges...You know, stand in front of guys and let them run smack into your chest?

I also want you to not play your natural position, how about playing center? Brian Grant was never the same after playing here.

Miami is it's worst enemy when it comes to getting it's players hurt. Freak accident after freak accident.

We wanted role players to step up and UD should be one of the first people to be stepping up. I was so angry when I read him saying "I don't need to score, lebron and wade will take the scoring load". NO DUDE, EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO CONTRIBUTE MORE.

Btw I remember people were like we don't need Kenyon Martin, he's older and we have Haslem. Yeah well Martin has been playing better and having a better impact for his team LOL.

ding, doing, ding, give that guy a cigar. This is what the problem is what ALL of our role players - they think just like that( I was so angry when I read him saying "I don't need to score, lebron and wade will take the scoring load". ). So they don't even think about there offense, and you know where that comes from

This Coach.

BTW - normally agree with you but, Kenyon Martin would not be doing the same here

@tomhaberstroh: Among 92 players with at least 125 minutes this postseason, Udonis Haslem ranks dead-last with a 5.9 PER.

True it's more than an injury, honestly he doesn't even show emotion or energy out there

.......you'll know soon

It's so sad to see this happen to him too, Haslem has always been one of my favorite players, but he's awful now. He wasn't even that bad last playoffs either, which is why I'm puzzled. He definitely came back too soon, but I think it was Game 2 where he completely swung with his energy, hustle, and offense(those 2 dunks were insane). He did as well as you could possibly ask against Dirk last year and his defense looked good. He's just bad this year otherwise though, the last flash of old UD I remember seeing is the Wizards game where he got that dunk with like 5 seconds to go. The worst part is, if he doesn't get better, we're stuck with ANOTHER bad contract.

Maybe it's the dreads, he looked better with them anyway.

I wonder what could be wrong with him. It's one thing to regress but he's in a constant slump. You can still hit jumpers and be emotional and physical when you're 40, that has little to do with age and has always been his style of play. As WD said, we'll most likely know more soon, or probably not given how the Heat organization and Riley keep most things private.

Riley talking to Haslem personally eh?

he's saying, GET OUR ASS OUT THERE AND CONTRIBUTE!!!!

our role players in general have this "we don't have to score" mentality. GIVE THESE PEOPLE ROLES AND THEY MIGHT ACTUALLY PLAY BETTER.

I can't believe these guys are paid millions to stand around and star gaze at LBJ and Wade.

AND MILLER STEALING A LOT OF MONEY HOLY SHIZ.

and @WD you are probably right about Kenyon Martin. But he has played well AND HE IS OLDER THAN HASLEM LOL. I would have rented him. He's a big that can atleast rebound. UD also doesn't show emotion like he usually does and it's true... he just thinks "I ain't gotta do nothin, just this imaginary energy and sucky rebounding lately".

I better see a different team tomorrow man.

Notice how he was playing great early this season when we were flying high? Grabbing 10+ rebs every game and scoring when needed.

Its definitely gotta be an emotional thing.

I honestly don't think Spo is a good motivator.

Dear Lord...

I forgot the Heat could have gotten Bledsoe. He'd be perfect next to Wade.
