I remember reading comments how Escobar didnt tag the guy at second. Was looking at gif's and he actually did, not sure if anyone brought it up

look at the mets players arm, near the elbow.

That angle is very deceiving. He clearly didn't tag him.

Nope, it looks like he did tag the elbow/uniform from that angle, but that's because it's a terrible angle. If you look at the video replay, it's pretty clear that he never made the tag (basepath replay starts at around 0:55).

at the game they showed someone in the dugout used a marker to draw a beard on him and it looked good

they never look really alike really, though the ricky one looks pretty good.
