Well, If you actually watched him playing instead of looking at the boxscores you would notice the impact he has at both ends of the floor. Plus Hibbert can create his own shot and you can run your offense trough him

I understand your point but at the same time there is a huge contradiction in what you are saying. It is only logical that what is rare is expensive and what is plentiful is cheaper. That's how markets work.

I think it is generally accepted that Hibbert is a top 5 if not top 3 center in the league, a 7'3 center that's very good on both ends of the court.
So yes, he's worth a max contract based on the simple fact that he is going to dominate about 90% of his match-ups.

In this era, it should be the guards struggling to get max contracts, not quality bigs.

Free agency in the NBA is simple supply and demand. Teams are going to overpay to fill out gaps in their rosters.

His market value is close to Marc Gasol's. He has a higher value in Indiana, though.
