Stop blaming Spo for everything. He is a young unexperienced coach and does a lot of stuff he shouldn't (no drawn plays, not taking fouls, Pitt starting, etc), but the losses are 90% on the team. Yes, he will get out-coached by Rivers/Pop and that's **** NORMAL!

we have a bad supporting cast sure, but a veteran coach should be coaching this team anyway.
Wade wouldn't get into Spo's face if Spo was Riley or someone else.

Everything would be easier with a good veteran coach, but things are like they are. Spo led this team to the Finals last year and he wasn't on the court to throw every lead we had away. He's making a lot of mistakes, but it's completely normal. The same people hack on Joel for not shooting the ball better or on UD for missing more and more shots. At one point it isn't because you don't want to, it's because you can't. And you're not gonna blame somebody for not doing things he can't do.

Made it to the finals on talent and talent alone. LeBron was making late 3's vs. Chicago and Boston. There was no strategy. Once the finals became about coaching it was a wrap.

I think it's the players at the end of the day. We lost the Mavs series because of Lebron. We all knows this. Maybe Spo could have still stolen some games with some brilliant rotation or game plan, but the fact of the matter is, if Lebron plays to his normal level we win that series in a sweep.
We'll go as far as Lebron's crazy brain will let us. Spo's got little to do with it.
You still have to put the players in the game for them to be effective. Spo's rotations are mind boggling to say the least 1

I really dislike when people say Spo led us to the FInals.
You really did not watch last year's playoffs if you truly believe that.
LBJ on Rose was good sure, but LBJ also closed out those games and remember our incredible comeback? That was on the will of Wade and LBJ, not Spo.
LeBron doesn't show up in the Finals and look what happens lol.

I agree with you about the coaching in the finals but shutting down the mvp and the whole bulls team wasn't talent. It was a great defensive scheme. Anybody who watched the bulls series realizes the kind of epic defense we played.

You have to choose. Either:
a) we did last year all on talent; or
b) Spo was a reason why we get that fare last season.
If you choose a) your argument is completely invalid for this season, because if a team is capable of beating the 76ers/Celtics/Bulls on talent alone, they are 10x able to beat the Pacers in any given composition (''on talent'').
If you choose b) you could prove that you're not a stupid guy and give credit were credit is due.

No one's saying he's a BAD COACH. He's just not qualified for this job. If Spo coached the Lakers during the 3 year run instead of Phil.....I think Spo would have them playing very good basketball. But dealing with Ego's, dealing with important in game situations. Im not sure Spo could handle it. In fact...Kobe would run all over him.

The grass is always greener.
4-1 may be an even series. All games were very tough on that one so it was not really "blown".

Spo has some credit of course. Just like he has credit for many of the dumb things the Heat did to lose the finals and also to lose the 1st 2 games vs Pacers. Let me see some adjustments, please.

He started big Pittman so Pacers can get a nice lead at the beginning of the game
Stop being so disrespectful.

I have no idea how Spo can have any other starting line-up than:
Chalmers - Wade - Miller - LeBron - Turiaf.
There is no way in this world you can start Joel or Pittman. One is better of the bench and the other hasn't enough impact for big games and should get only some minutes late in the 3rd. You need Battier once Wade takes a break, how can you let him start? You want Miller to shoot 3s, how can you leave him on the bench? If Haslem was able to knock-down open 2s you could start: Chalmers - Wade - LeBron - Haslem - Turiaf and this would be an awesome line-up, but he clearly can't anymore.
