Not to mention that this is not really a loophole at all; it is, in fact, how most deals are done on actual draft day. There is a reason we have the 6-hour time allotment. No reason to push someone purely to "speed things up" when they will still make their decision in a timely manner and completely within the rules.

I understand but not all rules are rules that we agree with (heck I don't necessarily even agree with it but hey), doesn't mean they aren't there. Next BAT we can think about taking it out but it is what it is here is all I'm saying. In fact we probably should.

I'm fine with that, Moo. But the rules are what they are and that is to be respected. We can definitely make adjustments in future BATs, I'm in favor of that for sure.

Yeah I felt he would have been around for a bit longer (a 4th rounder). But if you want someone you can't take that risk that someone else will nab him. And it may be a good thing cause it looks like we are moving into a run of shooting SG's. :D

Totally feel you. But one silver lining about young prospects flying off the board early means it allows those grizzled battle-tested vets to get pushed down unexpectedly. Those guys you shy away from on questionable contracts who are starting to see their production dip start looking very appealing in the later rounds.

Thanks! I love my Irving/Afflalo backcourt. I'm really looking to nab players who play the right way and are highly efficient.

If it's his guy then you're a mod. Of course a mod can't ever have been banned so depends on who gets to see it next.

PS: I"m going to lunch guys. See you in about 3 hours.

I thought Clay at that spot was a bit of a reach imo

Faried was a beast and I like the player but the fit is terribel for that team

Sessions might not be the most talented player on the board...but boy he fits perfectly with those two guys paco

During the season Sessions was good. He is 26 so he is moderately young. Had a PER of 17.1, and TS% of 57 which is pretty good. Can penetrate and dish, but has one MAJOR flaw:

No 3 point shot, which is why I passed on him, I have great post guys and I need a PG that can punish teams when they double team my bigs and hit the 3.

He is playing horribly for the Lakers in this post-season though tallying up 9.6 points, 3.4 assists, and 3.1 rebounds on 35% FG and yes... 19% from 3 point land...

Nah, I disagree. Klay is that good! He's as much of a lights-out pure shooter with size at the SG spot that you can ask for. Only reason I figured he'd go 4th round was quite frankly wishful thinking along the lines of other GM's sleeping on him since he played out west as a rookie.

Faried is a beast but I'm not sure if he can effectively start at SF, I'll give you that.

Faried couldn't guard 4s very well because of the size difference. The guy is a monster athlete with good lateral quickness, he can keep up with 3's jsut fine on the defensive end.

Most of his points came from drive to the lanes against the slower 4's, he will be fine with Nowitzki and Pek spreading the floor.

He is working on his jumper this offseason. :)

Also, our team will be the best rebounding team in the league. 2nd chance opportunities off of Dirk 3's when their PF is out guarding the 3 pt line and Kenneth and Pek will be there to snatch those boards.

Underrated part of Faried's game is his shot blocking as well... Oh the help defense... A beautiful thing it shall be.

I agree with this post in its entirety except I like the Klay pick. Might be a slight reach but he's probably going to develop into a solid knock-down shooter and you can never have too many of those guys on your roster. Otherwise I totally agree with your post.
