I was hoping you would get boozer. Varejo could mask his defensive short comings and hed be the perfect pick and roll player with rubio. Having a low post scorer and crunch time perimeter scorer(Gay) as well as Rubio to run the offense and the ultimate hustle guy would have been great.
If he dropped to 101...believe me i would have...lol. But i didnt want to trade up for Boozer who is 31 years old. I kind of have a good thing goin with a young defensive team. Varejao is 29 and although isnt young, his style of play isnt based on youth. He will be solid for the next 3-4 years easy. Cant teach his defensvie instincts and hustle.
Rubio is young and so is gay. I have some plans dont worry. I dont have much time to make trades though with a 1 year old and a full time job. Today i can use the computer because im in the shop today and not in the field. But most days im not so fortunate.

Thanks. You do not realize how close I was to picking Rudy Gay. I didn't pick him cause Gasol plays with him irl lol. I wanted Lin, Nash, or Rubio on this team, so yeah you got a good thing going there too.
Im glad too. I would have ended up with Grainger who i really like, but doesnt fit the defensive style i wanted to build this team around. Not that Grainger is a bad defender, but he isnt an "elite" position defender like Rubio/Gay/Varejao are. (And i do consider all 3 elite AT THEIR POSITION)
I like your team better without Gay though, i think you made the right choice with Noah..and worse comes to worse..you can trade one of the two and get some great value out of them and still have a great starting Center.
