If we're hanging around come late June...Adam Dunn and a few mil for a pitching prospect. It's coming.

Dunn would be a good fit. They certainly need something if they plan at all to stay in the race this season.

I have to agree that Adam Dunn would be the perfect option for us. Chicago isn't going anywhere and they would take him for the salary relief and a pitching prospect.

Gomes can play several positions, so gives the team a bit of flexibility.

Dunn is having a solid bounce back year, but I'd have to think that AA would be a lot more locked in on Morneau. This year, I'd probably prefer Dunn to Morneau, but long term, that's a tough call.

I would like AA to go after Dunn, however the price is likely higher than most here would be willing to pay. Its likely one of the 3 big arms at A+ and a catching prospect not named D'Arnaud. I would be fine with a trade like that but I think many would consider than an over payment. Still having Dunn and his career .878 OPS in the 4th spot would be enticing.

Well, long-term Morneau is risky because of the injuries the past two years. Especially the concussion (!) he suffered in 2010. Plus he's been on the DL already this year. He seems fragile. I would prefer Dunn to Morneau.
