it's a real privilege to watch this series unfold.

I think we can look for Durant to be more aggressive offensively. If Westbrook can find a rhythm early it would be a good sign for the Thunder. The Lakers got more open looks from the arc in game two than in game one, the Lakers weren't able to fully capitalize on the opportunities but those looks will be easier on their home floor. I'd like to see single coverage on Bynum in the first half.

The Thunder have yet to really have a good game themselves from beyond the arc, and this would be a good time to get it going and it would help spread the floor for penetration.

The Thunder got a little rattled in game two by foul calls that they didn't agree with, it will be important to stay focused on the task at hand in this game.

I want Cook to play more but I don't know when they can get him in there. I'd try to go small a bit when they bring Jordan Hill in the game for Bynum. It's been very hit or miss but stretching their defense out is important IMO.

I've had some similar thoughts, Brooks has been very reticent to go small, despite Denver having success in round 1. Going small obviously presents some problems against the Lakers but only if you feel forced to stick with it, which OKC is not.

I'm conflicted about Cook. Part of me thinks that either the play calling or his teammates do a poor job of utilizing him and expect him to hit a lot of bail out shots instead of actually running a couple of plays for him to get him in a rhythm and make him a real threat. Another part of me thinks Cook is just too streaky a shooter to be relied upon for that role. Presti resigned him, so there must have been a belief that he was a good enough shooter, so perhaps hit comes down the the utilization?

Even when he's not making shots Cook can open things up a little bit. Defenses respect him. He only shot 34.6% from three point range this season so he's not a great shooter. Starting to feel like last season was a bit flukey. But he's still the best shooter off our bench besides Harden. The Fisher-Harden-Durant-Collison-Nazr lineup with Hill in the game doesn't do it for me. I'd rather see Fisher-Harden-Cook-Durant-Collison or Nazr and see what happens.

Just hope the team push the tempo and rebound for this game.
Got to make it intense for a back to back.
*of course the usual protect the ball apply*

I wonder what goes on in his mind. Such a weird thing to do after trying to steal a ball.

The refs are trying hard to give this game to LA. How ridicious 2 fouls again on harden.

Wow, what a poorly officiated game. Both sides had bad calls or bad no calls. To top it all off, Durant was clearly fouled on that rebound attempt and then Westbrook was called for a foul right afterwards which was less of a foul than the one they didn't call in favor of Durant. :rolleyes:

Question....why no Sefolosha guarding Kobe in the 4th? He blew by Harden easily and was getting to the line, Sefolosha is the only guy on OKC who has been able to give Kobe problems.

not too shocked at the result. We weren't gonna stay perfect in close games.

There were bad calls all night that kept Thunder away from building a leverage;

When we missed 3 offensive rebounds was when we lost the game.

30 fouls? 42 free throws? The refs were the MVP of game 3.
