what the hell, we're playing for a championship THIS year. Yeah, Pat had something to do with getting BIG 3 to Miami but come on he has done a TERRIBLE JOB surrounding big 3 with these BUM BUSTS, HAS BEENS, NEVER HAS BEENS, 1 dimenionsal players.

As much as I want to bash Spo, and hes terrible too but Pat Riley did ONE sh*tty job with signing Battier and Miller. Not only that, overpaying these bums.

I swear to god, win or lose this year, we still wont have a legit center next year.

The role players aren't who we thought they would be. If you look at our bench on paper we should be one of the best benches in the league. My only logical explanation would be that they're not used to playing "headless chicken" defense and maybe they get worn out. Also don't forget in this series they get left having to rotate to Hibbert sometimes.

To be fair anyone with two eyes can see Spo offense is pathetic, with the tallent we have and everyone healthy there is no reason we should go scoreless for stretches yet we do.

Really?

No we wouldn't, even on paper I cringe...

33 year Shane Battier
32 year old no game Mike Miller
Rookie Norris Cole
Ronnie Turiaf
2nd year Dexter Pittman
A broke shot Haslem

The bench looks turrible even on paper

Basketball isn't a players game

You still need coaching against a team that is being coached.

A good team that is being coach against Lebron and DWade with a bunch of scrubs is gonna give the Heat trouble.

And trading Lebron or Wade would be the dumbest thing in the world

You don't trade away a damn top 5 player ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever unless he demands it.

That's the dumbest thing the Heat organization can do.

It's not the players it's the stupid organization being stupid and uncreative and assemblying a bunch of dumbasses to coach and gathering a bunch of hasbeens and no talent players on long term contracts.

It's not the players.

It's the management and coaches. After a while you just gotta admit the management screwed this up because they are stupid.

They got a video coordinator turned coach. Then you have him the big 3 and a bunch of old ass washed up dudes that can't even hit 3s that are wide open.

When the Heat finally lose to Indiana, the owner of this team needs to start firing every freaking body.

I mean just fire everyone, who put the roster together, the coaches, the training staff, everyone needs to go.

Then he needs to add in smart basketball people, who actually know wtf they are doing. Pat Riley is old, he needs to go retire because this is the most inept roster I have ever seen in my life. ...Really Mike Miller, haven't you seen this mofo play in the last 5 years...really Pat.

Then they need a real talented coach with some damn ideas. Then need to beg every team in the league to get rid of Haslem, Mike Miller and Joel.

I done with from " Damn Shane can't shoot. Damn Miller sucks." to "Why the f*** they picked up lame ass Mike Miller."

You're judging them off what you've seen this year though. Haslem's jumper used to be money. My point is that if you were to put together this team from scratch that bench wouldn't look like a bad idea.

I think a big part of our bench is mentally weak.

UD all of a sudden cant shoot but is healthy, its mental.

Miller well cant tell if hes healthy or not but is scared to shoot, its mental.

MM has to be the biggest fcking bum out there on the court, at least shoot the fcking ball man. you're being paid millions for standing behind the 3 point line and riding the bench.

Half of our bench are 3pt shooters. 3pt shooting is all about mental toughness. If Battier/Miller/JJ hit their first two shots they can go of for 12-15pts easily, if not they throw the game away.

MM/Jones/Battier have been shooting 3 pointers all there life.. I don't get how mental toughness gets to them knowing they've been around a league for some time now. But I do agree, they need f****** let lose with those 3's.

Once you start to doubt about yourself you automatically get worse. If you doubt about yourself being a good driver, chances are nothing will happen. If you doubt about your 3pt shooting, chances are high that you start missing even more. Shooting-motion is all about reflexes. You do the same thing you did the last 200'000 times without even thinking about it. Once you start thinking about it you lose. That's why Spo wants Miller to get up 10 shots. If you miss 5 of 10 you don't give a ****. Though, if you miss every night 1 of 2 you can't bild any confidence in your abilities.
