ANA accepts. Finally got a deal done with Anaheim, and I like it. DWill has looked like a great scorer and rebounder, and will run a great P&R with Rondo. Fernandez actually gives me a young wing to help my rebuild. Also improves the avlue of my 1st this year.

#111
Detroit and Minnesota
Greg Monroe - $4,086,454
2013 2nd
for
Andre Drummond - $5,016,960
CHI 2013 1st
No need for the math as we are plenty under the cap
Drummond is a bit more raw but with more potential upside = more losses for us while we rebuild and collect draft picks.

Houston confirms - we have too many player under contract that are already showing strong development. We ilke this draft, but can't take on that many bodies. Great dealing Doc! Good luck

MIN agrees
I improve greatly at center while only dropping 14 or so spots in the draft
Easy one for the Muskies.

#112- Phoenix & Minnesota
PHX trades:
Harrison Barnes - $3,526,440
Klay Thompson - $2,317,920
Total - $5,844,360
MIN trades:
Danny Granger - $9,021,788
JJ Barea - $4,687,000
Total - $13,708,788
Phoenix accepts & can absorb the extra salary with cap space.
We hate to lose two young & promising players in addition to giving up cap space for this free agency, but Granger is a proven championship-caliber piece and we look forward to his quality production for PHX.

Love what the Muskies are getting here. Two quality young guns. Both with playoff experience that will provide this team with tremendous depth. Trade also helps to free some financial woes

We get a great young PG who was big in the title run and who's familiar with Dallas for a 2nd round pick and an old player past his prime

#114: ANA and VAN
To Anaheim:
Enes Kanter ($4,505,280)
Rights to #6, Adonis Thomas
To Vancouver:
Derrick Williams ($5,016,960)
Rights to #13, BJ Young
4,505,280 * 1.5 + 100,000 = 6,857,920
Deal works.
ANA accepts. I LOVE Thomas. He is probably my favorite player coming out of the 2013 draft, and I can't wait to see him in the NBA. He is a lock down defender with great wing span, can get to the rim and also has shown great progress in his jump shot. Kanter is a great rebounder, and by his 3rd year, should be an 11/9 type player, which is perfect going forward.

Vancouver accepts. I was actually considering BJ Young at #6. I need more guards than I do forwards. Also Kanter was blocked here by Gasol so I pick up a SF who can start for me

Trade #115
HOUSTON and TORONTO Annouce Deal
Houston will send SG Alec Burks (2,323,200) & PF Arnett Moultrie (1,482,000) ($3.805M). to
Toronto for Veteran SG Ray Allen (11,000,000)
Since Houston is at $ 28M with Cap Holds, they can absorb the additional salary.
Houston has assembled a great stable of talent going into their 2nd and 3rd years. While Burks and Moultrie are very promising, the Rockets felt that bringing in a comsumate professional with the championship experience Ray brings will be a hugh benefit to their development. Ray will still see 20 minute a night (4th quarters) and will be relied on to bring the outside shooting and tireless effort he has demonstrated for over 16 years. With Ray and Jerryd Bayless (a Tireless gym rat who has improved every year) we think this team will be ready to compete when the Sonics, etc are aging. Great Dealing with you Dan!

#116 - PHI & PDX
Philly sends:
Caron Butler - $8,000,000
Avery Bradley - $2,511,432
Linus Kleiza - $4,600,000
Total - $15,111,432
Portland sends:
Paul Pierce - $15,333,334
Total - $15,333,334
Philly accepts - it hurts to lose a young talent like Bradley, but we were able to upgrade our starting line-up significantly while putting the cap space sucked up by Kleiza to otherwise good use.
