Braun his a natural, you can tell with his swing. Can't wait to see him hit in person Monday afternoon.

Yeah, it is pretty obvious that guy is all about making a big dramatic moment to get on SportsCenter. Schroeder was right when he said Jenkins never turned around to try and show him up he was just venting his frustrations.

Great play in the field by Braun....and I wish Schroeder would realize that was Braun's second grounder...the first he threw to second.

Yeah Billy said that a couple of times. Not sure how he missed Ryan's first fielding chance. Or at least a producer should have caught it and told Billy on his earphone. Usually it's Anderson who's the screw up.

This is the widest strikezone I have ever seen. I've seen little league games with less called strikes that should have been balls.

Ryan's on pace to have more RBI's after May then our opening day 3B...and they've even gotten starts in the middle of the infield.

Three things:

1. Solid game for Braun...2 RBIs and a gapper.
2. I was watching this game on DVR (it was about 3 innings in when I came) and I fast forwarded a bit during the first few innings to see Braun's at-bats. I stopped in the 5th inning, and I saw Bush hitting with a runner in scoring position. I said out loud, to all of my friends around me, that they should've pinch-hit for him and that the Padres would drop a five spot in the next inning. After putting some cigs on the line to see who would be right, I pressed "live" on the remote and the television screen said 7-0, San Diego. Love those Camel Turkish Gold.
3. I LOVE NED YOST. Say what you want about his sometimes questionable game management, but he's got the back of his players and knows how to talk sh*t when necessary.

Done.
