We are elated to welcome George Hill to our team! We are still in utter disbelief that he fell this far. As we kept watching picks flying off the board it become a realistic possibility that he might drop right into our laps...and no way were we going to pass him up.

We cannot tell you how important it is in today's NBA to have a backup combo-guard who is atletic, quick, and plays defense applying constant ball-pressure. He rebounds the ball foul-line extended, and gives us another ballhandler who makes the extra pass and plays the right way.

Hill will come off the bench spelling both guard positions. He will also allow us to go small at times, taking advantage of our quickness by playing him at SG, alongside Irving at PG and sliding Afflalo over to SF. This is a young, underrated guard who is currently gaining valuable playoff experience against top notch competition.

Another strong pick and roll big and very solid defense player and rebounder. You can never have enough big man and in the minutes he plays he is one of the most effective centers in the league. At 27 years old he has a great future ahead of him.
