As long as Kobe is jacking up fade away shots and freezing out the rest of the team, you can bet the house on this....the series is as good as over. I don't blame Gasol, Bynum, nor Metta. I blame Kobe Garbage. Why should Bynum and Gasol look to be aggressive in the 4th Quarter when Kobe has already made up his mind that he's going to take over.

He can't shoot over his defenders like he used to. The long arms of Durant are too much for Kobe but yet he'll continue trying those circus shots. They should've won the last 3 games but Kobe Garbage tried to take over and threw up garbage shots towards the end. Dwight Howard would never come to LA to play with Kobe. Who would? No one!!!

I really hope it isn't over. Then there's the part of me that wants it to be over so management will face reality.

its not over yet, but its over.

3 50-50 games of which we shouldve won all three. during our title years, those were games we would pull out because we were made of sterner stuff.

its a vastly different team mentally to that which won the 2009 and 2010 titles

I hope its over. I think it will make management get rid of GAsaal. He can take softness and citizenship award with him to another team. I think we should trade Metta while he just ante'd his value.

Pretty much All of this ^^^^

As for this Lakers core being done I'm not a believer of that.
Kobe, Pau and obviously Drew is still a solid enough big three to keep
you a contender of course with the right supporting cast (the bench) .

Obviously we would be in a better situation right now if we had a more solid bench this season.
Plus I wasn't one to criticize Coach Brown this season , but enough is enough.
Him getting outcoached in crunch time in those crucial Game2 and Game4 losses puts my decision over the top.
He's got to go.

I'll have all the faith in the world if we win Game 5. But I'll just prepare for the usual ass beating or choke job.

I'm still all in.....we could very well go there and win Game 5, cast some doubt in them for Game 6 seeing as they wanted no part of coming back to LA. And just let the chips fall where ever after that.

Truth be told, we'll find out what team landed in OKC in the first 5 minutes of the game, and if it's close after 1 quarter hell then it may be a fight.

If Thunder lead by less than 5 points at the end of the 3rd quarter, We'll be in with a huge chance.

If we lead by less than 10 points at the end of the 3rd quarter, We'll choke it away and Thunder win.

Its strange though, even though we're down 3-1, it doesn't seem daunting that we could win. I don't know if its because its 3 close games or what, but I believe if we can win Game 5, we surely could place the pressure on OKC and run the table.

I love the analysis golden night, but until coach Brown does a better job with in-game strategy i can't assume that we will win 3 in a row. plus i cant remember the last time pau has put together 3 soild games in a row.

It's 1-3, but it could be 3-1.

We have to win tomorrow (as well as back in LA and back in OKC) or it is over. Game 5 is going to be the toughest game IMO. Lakers need to pound it inside and rebound like crazy.
