I'd love to say that Deron heads to Dallas and Nash stays in PHX, but I think New York realizes how limited their options are (MLE) and Burning that to retain either Lin or Fields will not make them significantly better. I think they use that in a sign and trade where they get Nash and give up Lin and change. Sarver will love the money that Linsanity will bring to the desert.

2. Where will Williams end up?
Heart says Dallas, but head says he'll stay in NJ.

3. What position player will the Suns end up drafting? Who will we end up drafting?
We'll chase a wing, hopefully Lamb.

4. Will Gortat end up being traded? If so, where?
Nah I think we keep the Gortat, at least until midseason.

Atlanta, if only because they have 6guys under contract. Scratch that, Boston only has 4 guys so they will make the most by default

Okay just kidding.
1- It's too early to tell, and I think it depends where the lottery balls drop this year. If somehow a miracle happens and the Suns get a top 3 pick, then the best situation happens for both Phoenix and Steve Nash. Suns get to start their rebuild, and Nash gets to play for a contender. If the Suns don't land a top 3 pick, well then it leaves options of trading for a top 6 pick, if this happens, same situation occurs, but we trade Gortat for the pick. If not, well then, the Suns will try and give it one more go with Nash at the helm, it's too hard for Sarver to just let him go without compensating the fans nothing in return. Overall, my gut is telling me it's time to say goodbye and I hope things work out best for both parties.

2- He's saying Dallas, but I don't see it happening. I think he stays with the Nets. The Nets do a S&T to get rid of Brook Lopez, only opening up a spot for Dwight the following offseason. Possibly to the Kings for Tyreke Evans or the Hawks for Josh Smith.

3- Difficult to say. I want to say No 3, but that won't happen as long as I'm a fan of the Suns. Eff it, that's where we're drafting. We're taking Andre Drummond.

4- After scenario above, then we're trading Gortat & Dudley to the Blazers for the No 7 and No 12 Pick. If the above doesn't happen then we're trading Gortat & Dudley to the Blazers for the No 6 & No 11 Pick. We're taking Jeremy Lamb with the 7th pick, and Austin Rivers at 12.

5- 5 years 52mil.

6- The Suns, considering we have to fill more than half our roster. The Mavs are up there too. But their roster won't be as dramatic a change as the Suns.

7-Meh. Let me update this one later.

8- Mayo is gone. During the season perhaps the Grizzlies will trade Gay to the Nets for Gerald Wallace and fillers.

9- I'd say New York. Bold move, but I can see the Lakers (mainly Kobe) wanting Pau gone. Amare for Pau, funny to see the Lakers with two contracts eating up 50mil in salary.

10- Another bold prediction, but I can see the Spurs picking up Ray Allen. Manu coming off the bench with Stephen Jackson. Spurs will be straight nasty.

11- The Blazers, they'll match any offer.

12- He's staying with the Hornets, he's going to get his numbers, a volume scorer, but he won't be on a contending team in a while. I say he plays 50 games this upcoming season.


I'd like to be the first to say I will probably be the biggest muggle here.

1. I used to think that Nash would be 100% back, but now I'm not too sure if our FO even wants him back. From the latest articles I have read, I feel the FO wants to move on, past the "Nash Era." A 3 year contract would be too much for this team going nowhere with a 38 year old point guard.

1- Although it seems highly unlikely, I believe he will go to the raptors(mainly for the 3 yr deal!) And because of his ties to all their personnel,growing up there etc.

2- Deron williams will stay in brooklyn, Mainly because of the new arena, that and stern will most likely make the trailblazers pick a top 3, so that they can convince him to stay because of that and the potential resigning of wallace, and the immenent trade for dwight!

My guess is that it ultimately will come down to Dallas and Phoenix. If Dallas doesn't get DWill, I think there is a good possibility they make a run at him, and with Marion and Dirk there, and of course his previous stint there, it could be enticing. I'm just not sure how much Cuban will offer. My guess is he won't want to offer as much as Phx will, and maybe not even more than one year. I don't think he will take the pay cut to go to Miami and NY, and I'm not sure the players on those teams (ball dominators) are the types of players he really wants to play with, ESPECIALLY for a huge discount. I really can't see him going to Toronto in the end. My gut ultimately says he comes back.

2. Where will Williams end up?

I think he stays in Brooklyn, but I wouldn't count out a trade to the Lakers, especially if that could net the Nets (no pun originally intended) Gasol to possibly pair with or trade for Dwight. Having said that, under the right circumstances, if DWill gets traded to LA (or possibly if he signs with Dallas), and Brooklyn ends up with Gasol and/or Dwight, I think Brooklyn suddenly becomes another fairly strong possibility for Nash.

3. What position player will the Suns end up drafting? Who will we end up drafting?

Shooting guard or possibly a small forward. Terrence Ross and if he isn't there I'm not sure...might revisit....I wanna say Terrence Jones or Harkless but I'm not sure they're range out to three is quite good enough. Obviously Jeremy Lamb if he is there.

4. Will Gortat end up being traded? If so, where?

No, I don't see any reason or heard any buzz about this other than on these boards. They won't know for sure about Nash until after the draft. We could always trade him later when our needs are more defined (like after free agency or at the trade deadline if we are really bad anyway and we see a situation where a team NEEDS a center and can trade us young prospects/picks...we wait until a team needs a vet to put them over the top like when we traded Delk and Rodney Rogers to Boston for Joe Johnson.)

5. What sized contract will McGee end up getting?

Probably way too much, like 4 years, $50M or so. With so many teams with cap space, and guys like DeAndre Jordan getting that, some desperate team will offer him something like that. Maybe a little less, but way too much.

Probably Brooklyn or Orlando. Possibly LAL.

My darkhorse candidate, the Bobcats. Get Sloan as a coach, draft well, and get a couple key free agents.

Hard to say, but I'd wager whoever gets Dwight Howard and I'd imagine its going to be the Brooklyn Nets.

Rudy Gay for sure, Mayo will get overpaid based on potential (again) even though he doesn't deserve more than the league minimum.

9. Where will Gasol be playing next year?

Memphis...oh you mean the "other" Gasol?
I'm going to say he gets traded to the Eastern Conference, the team being the Toronto Raptors. I don't have a valid reason or any idea on who would be traded, but the Raptors can't help themselves with Euro big men,

10. Who will Ray Allen be playing for?

Another dark horse pick...the San Antonio Spurs. Still a little left in the tank for Parker/Manu/Duncan, add some more depth and win another title or two, even if they do manage to win the title this year again. Crazy what a good, smart FO can do for a franchise.

11. Where will Batum be playing?
