I've learned in the last two years that letting go and not putting much expectations is the best way to go with this team. Yeah it could of been 3-1 or whatever, but you could say that for just about any series that is semi-competitive. This series is over, time to look ahead and discuss what needs to be done so we could be successful next year

The thought of how this series should be at least 2 - 2 right now but isn't because we have choked games away is killing me.

The one thing I like is that last couple losses have been close. We haven't been outplayed like in Game 1. The team just makes really stupid mistakes in the last few minutes of regulation and gives the game away. Which is why those last two losses hurt more than the 30 point blowout.

I bet Pau gets a triple double to make up for that TO

Only thing going for the Lakers is that games 1 and 4 were the toughest for us because game 1 was right after a tough series with Denver and game 4 was on a back to back. It was easy to see how at the end of the game 4 we were a step slower. Knowing this, Lakers should not have given away game 2 like that so all these things add up.

I would play Ebanks a bit more over Barnes. Barnes completely lost his touch on O and D. His head is not in the game. Ebanks can hit a couple of more shots while on the second unit. Anything is better on the second unit than what we are running now. Our advantage is on the inside and every chance Lakers get I would stat the O inside even if it goes back out. I would play through Metta on the inside just to get Durant a lil weary and banged up. As soon as Durant is guarding Metta or Pau, post him up!

All in all I think this is done. :(

While I think this series is inevitably over, either one or two things is going to happen tonight. Either we establish a lead early on and continue to play with that same passion for four quarters or we lose by somewhat of a large margin. This team has no heart, and the second the Thunder begin to open a big lead with the OKC crowd behind them the Lakers will fold. I saw this team quit on Phil Jackson and their chances at a third title, and I haven't seen anything this year to stray me from thinking that the same won't happen to Mike Brown. Just make sure Bynum is out of the game before then.

I see 2 scenarios here

We man up and win or quit and lose like we did the previously 2 series we lost(Dallas and Boston)....massive blowout

I don't see another choke job,if we stay within striking distance I think we'll pull it through this time,if we start lazy and the Thunder make a run early,it's over...don't see this team recovering from a large deficit, not down 3-1 in the series....they will quit

Ya there was. That was another series we gave away 2 games, game 1 and 3. We're just trying to make ourselves feel better here, even though it's not realistic.
