It seriously should not take this long to make a decision. Especially on Otis, there literally is nothing about him that makes you have to think about what he has done and if he should keep his job.

my only hope is that they are waiting to announce not just the departure of whoever is getting let go but also their replacements and thats what is causing the delay

It is unproffesional to be interviewing candidates for jobs when someone else hasn't even been fired. If that is what they are doing, they are stupid.

So, by basically taking their time in deciding which direction we want to head in, we are effectively losing out on good prospects and are looking indecisive. Interesting.

Howard Beck ‏@HowardBeckNYT

And a Magic alum MT @MikeWellsNBA expect that Magic will reach out to Brian Shaw about their opening. Shaw has been huge on Vogel's staff

I think Brian Shaw and Mike Malone are the top candidates to be head coach.

Donnie Walsh, Kevin Pritchard and Jeff Bower are some names they would like to bring into the personal department. Adonal Foyle could see a promotion too.

It will be interesting and we will see what happens.

Will these moves be enough to keep Dwight Howard around or will he leave and give this franchise egg on their face?

i'd still rather keep Dwight Howard and I would have fired Stan just to keep him or have a shot to do so.

If Dwight goes, it could be a long way back and it is a hard pill to swallow.

If Brian Shaw got the coaching job, you'd have a player who helped get Brian Hill fired back in 97 taking his old job. The Irony.
