Just looked up how well the Lakers are shooting in the 4th quarter in the playoffs (by player). Check it
This is ****.
For our starters we have our big center shooting 40%, our best/most clutch player shooting 35%, our great PF shooting 33%, our quick PG shooting 31%, and our intense SF shooting 27%.
Credit OKC's defense. Their interior defense is solid and they've got a great defender in Thabo to throw at Kobe, not to mention a well-rested Durant at the end of games. It doesn't help that our shooters don't provide our big 3 any spacing either so all that does is make the Thunder's job even easier.

I think Metta's numbers are just coincidence. He's an equal opportunity jacker and is prone to hot or dry spells seemingly at random, plus we shouldn't be relying on him in the 4th. That killa Steve is wrecking our bigs in the 4th though.
