Not a single assist in game 5.

I was cheering every shot Kobe took, because he missed them all. Lose like the little punk bitch you are.
Your remaining elite skills are being an ****, whining about
everything, and blaming your teammates for every last one of your shortcomings.

You are a pathetic, petty little shadow of a human being, Kobe Bryant.

Yes, I used paint.exe instead of memewhatevercrap. So what?

Gonna use this thread as our Playoffs thread. We don't have one. :(

Hmm, what am I supposed to read off that chart? The fact that Kobe's # of assist correlates to the teams' point differentials? :D

Tough loss for Kobe, but people need to give credit to the Thunder. They came to play.

That's probably a bad idea.

You could always go tell them we have a thread going on about getting Pau back again, though. ;)

This begs the question, do we still want Pau Gasol?

In fairness, a large part of Gasol's limitation in the Lakers series was Kobe and his big-man-shutout-hero-balling-Im-Kobe-Motherf**king-Bryant-Damnit-Get-These-Snakes-Off-My-Motherf**king-Plane.

Pau is a skilled big man
problem is Kobe and Brown don't use him correctly
i don't mind him but what is the price?

I think Lakers would do Pau for Kevin Martin and Samuel Dalembert (since both are expiring contracts)
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

You gain a year in age and 11m in salary with that, just FYI.

I do agree that even though the playoff showing wasn't Pau's fault, that it probably did hurt his trade value.

Also he's 32 next season.

32 is fine just don't play him full time at center
his injured history is good
and then i check his contract
omg it's almost 19 mil per
forget it

If we step back for a minute: This year he would have made us a near-contender in conjunction with Chuck Hayes and Dalembert - 56-62 wins over 82 games (can't remember what I calculated...)
He's still an upgrade over Scola, and we have to do our REAL improvement via rookie contracts and acquisitions, so yeah, dunno how it would work anymore.

he's definintely an improvement over scola, but is he worth it? i dont think he'll be at the level we need him at. too many risks imo for too much money. he needs to be a 20/10 player for us

My thoughts on the playoffs so far:

1) Happy the Thunder are doing well.

2) Looks like resting their stars was a good move by the Spurs!

3) Chicago may have overtaken Portland in the "Bad Luck Injury" department for the next couple years. That injury to Rose...damn...

4) Very happy that Flop City is out.

5) I like the team that the Pacers have built.

6) Since the Rockets aren't in it (again) I'm trying really, really hard to care...but beyond what I just typed I really don't.
