In addition to the greatness that is Christopher Emmanuel Paul I, I want to give a shout out to areg789 for having the best record for game threads this season (minimum of 4). In 11 games, his record was 9-2 for a total winning percentage of 81.8%. LOJ came in 2nd with a record of 8-3 for a percentage of 72.7%. You both will be heavily relied on next season ;) Congrats and good job.

In all seriousness, having Paul has been the greatest experience as a fan. Sometimes, I have to pinch myself when I realize that he is actually on the team. Many of us have been playing with the numbers and looking the accumulated assets over the years and saying to ourselves that we have a chance to snag one of these top players/free-agents. In the past, we always struck out, but this time we stuck gold. He was willing to take a chance on the the franchise that everybody else was afraid of getting involved with.

The players have shared their thoughts in today's media sessions. The ending of the season is still fresh in everyone's minds, but they are gearing up for next season. Chris called up Neil late last night, and Chris was the one acting as if he needed to prove something. He said that he has to get better and will be better next season. That's almost insane to me. Is this guy for real? Chris is genuine and he's all in. This is only the beginning though and the best is yet to come.

Paul has really been our best player all year. I knew that he would receive our honor this year. Congrats to him. I'm hoping we can have some of our guys step up next season and have them win some more player of the game honors.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
