If true, this further strengthens my belief that Stan had a lot more say in personnel than anyone previously thought.

mm123 believes stan liked players like duhon, malik allen, jrich, and keith bogans

wow he didnt like some of the most important people in our run

Which explains why we traded them... Sounds like he was the actual president of basketball ops and Otis assisted by making the deals.

^ Otis's right hand man... Don't know much about him really as Otis always took the limelight.

Well, if I recall, he was 90% of the reason that we drafted Fran....

But honestly, it's not a big deal... he probably won't have to do anything at all before the new GM steps in.

I'm just looking for something new to complain about.

Reminds me of the two-headed GM days. Hey, let's try that again. Foylezick!
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

WAIT.

With Otis gone, does that mean that "I like this team" jokes are no longer relevant?

I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS.

I remember things differently regarding Granger/Vasquez. Twardzik scouted Vasquez personally several times, and was the main reason we skipped over Granger.

"Yes, we're a little surprised,'' said Dave Twardzik, Magic co-general manager who had seen Vazquez play six different times in Europe. "The message we've been getting all along -- before the draft, after the draft -- was that he was excited about playing here. He said it was his dream to play in the NBA. I don't know (what changed his mind).''

More on Twardzik; from an opinion piece of the 10 Worst GM's in League History

In the 1995 draft, he took Joe Smith No. 1 overall. The next four picks—Antonio McDyess, Jerry Stackhouse, Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Garnett—all turned out to be All-Stars, something Smith would never accomplish.

In '96, Twardzik drafted bust Todd Fuller with the 11th overall pick, skipping two future MVPs in Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash as well as fellow All-Stars Peja Stojakovic, Jermaine O'Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

Yep Rick Rolled, I remember Twardzik being the one behind the Vasquez pick. Twardzik and Otis, what a combo.

I'm sure some noob will start a new thread on this, but BBD just came out and said on ESPN radio that he's talked to D12 and he's 100% coming back to Orlando next season.

I really want to believe it but I won't until I see an official Magic statement that Dwight signed an extension.

Even though this should be believed as much as if not moreso than the sheridan report, this wont get nearly as much attention
