So there's 10 positions on the diamond including a pitcher. 2 teams and a DH for both teams? Dont know how you guys want to do this since because we have 23 guys. I'm not to shure how busy these places are on Sundays. Does anyone have any intel on that?

The 27th of May is too soon. July 3rd is a better option.

Done.

Downtown is much easier a location for most of the out-of-towners.

July 3rd - Tuesday? Surely you mean June 3rd?

Also, some of the names on the OP's list is inactive/moved out of TO. I've indicated my interest so you if you could please add my name too.

Def. downtown for me.

Also no need to worry about fitting extra players yet, about a handful of the guys on that list dont even live here anymore or can't make it and some want to pitch.

We can take Trinity Bellwoods park easily.

All we do is play some Belle and Sebastian from the other side of the park and they will all flock there and then we take the diamond and play our game.

I play trinity and rosedale and those are always busy. Lakeshore is usually pretty busy as well.

May need to find new park.

Btw, high park has 4-5 nice diamonds with fences ranging from like ~150-260 feet, could be an option.

Downtown and High Park work for me as I don't drive right now and can only go to parks
subway accessible. Also were playing Hardball not slow pitch softball right? And do we need
umpires?

No to my hipster joke? Belle and Sebastian? Anyone?

I'm also for subway-accessible parks. Umpires can be bought at a nearby homeless shelter.

Great question! Who's going to ref out the games?

So no to the homeless shelter umpire draft?

Either way, we'd need more than one as there will be some bang-bang plays at first and more than a few steal attempts, I'm sure.

people from the batting team can ump. Fairly of course :).

Coin flip for a bang bang play that the call is disputed. Also fairly!
