Sounds like he's somewhat interested in either Charlotte or Orlando. Can you imagine him working for Michael Jordan?

Sloan was a great coach early in his career and basically a terrible coach at the end of his career. I hope he doesnt coach another team bc he will be a failure and tarnish his over-rated coaching past!

I hate to think about sloan on the opposite bench in Utah yelling about the fouls. But I wish sloan would go coach the Bobcats and get them to the playoffs year 1 and finally get the COY award.

It depends on a the team. If he gets a crap team, he can take those kind of guys and make them into a hard working respectable unit. If he gets a good, talented team, he'll fall flat on his face, because Sloan is poor at utilizing genuine talent. The only thing that kept Jazz players from rebelling against him the last few years was the management support he had. As soon as a player (DWill) felt he had more sway than the coach, there was a mutiny.

I think the Bobcats are an ideal situation for him. He can motivate them to run a system and and work hard, and maybe win 30-40 games. Put Sloan in New York, and Carmelo and Amare will probably pay a hit man to have him killed by season's end.

Would be interesting for sure to be on the otherside of a team that overacheives in the regular season and falls apart in the playoffs due to lack of adjustments.

Would love to see what he could do with Kemba Walker and Bismack.

I would love to see him coach again. He retired too soon.
