It seems Hedo has only been effective in that SVG system so its def gonna be interesting to see what happens wih the new coach & him.

Went to Toronto...was horrible. Traded to the Suns...was horrible.

We all know he is on his last legs, but it will def be interesting to see if the new coach has him coming off the bench because there is NO WAY the new coach will give him as much freddom as SVG did.

YBR made a good point. He said Dwight started to take a media PR hit when he joined Fegan in 2010. I agree with that 100 percent.

He also said D12 was shocked that JJ defended him today on Rome

Living here in Ohio I watch A LOT of Cavs basketball (unfortunately) & a guy who is becoming one of my fav players is Alonzo Gee. The guy had a very solid season for the Cavs & is a FA. Dude can dunk with the best of em & has improved his jump shot big time. I seriously wouldn't mind if he was our starting 3 next year, but I would def LOVE him coming off the bench.

He gets to the rim a lot & is a very good defender @ the 3 spot. Plus he is only 25 & still gonna get better. I hope our new management makes a run at him:

Just going off what our poster CB put in the RealGM trades section. Which was a Ryno/Tyreke swap with a future 1st going to the Kings. Since Ryno would be perfect next to Cousins just like he was next to Dwight maybe the Kings are interested.

If they would want a future 1st we could keep number 19 this year & draft either Wroten or Marshall for the PG spot since Meer may walk. Sign Gee for the starting 3 spot (pushing Hedo to the bench).

Tyreke/Wroten or Marshall/Duhon
JRich/JJ
Gee/Hedo/Q
BBD/Harper
Dwight/Orton

Nothing great but we def wont be just "jump shooters" anymore. I like Tyreke/Gee/BBD/& Dwights defensive abilities in that first team.

After becoming a free agent last summer, Brian Shaw had one wish: to play for Orlando. This is a behind-the-scenes log kept by his agent, Jerome Stanley, chronicling events leading to Shaw's signing.

This was pretty cool to read.

Those who know Skiles well insist he would crawl to Orlando to be the Magic’s coach. Skiles not only has a house in the Orlando area but he played five years with the Magic while becoming one of their most beloved players ever. More importantly, Skiles is one of Richard DeVos Sr.’s all-time favorites. DeVos is the owner of the Magic. It’s hardly a secret DeVos wants an NBA title in the worst way and has to realize it would be foolish at this stage — especially if all-world center Dwight Howard remains in the Magic Kingdom — to bring in an untested young coach instead of a proven, quality coach like Skiles. Hiring Skiles would also be a p.r. bonanza for the Magic as their fans most certainly would embrace a Skiles’ “homecoming.’’

Who will be the next one to want to come to Orlando?
