I'm impressed he's still around. There's no way he'll be able to hide his disdain for the Pizza Pizza's Pizza. But I guess if he can put on a brave face and shovel in the Primo, why not. Although, he's not straying too far from the stereotypes, is he?

I know he's been in town for a few days. My dad picked him up in his cab the day before yesterday and got him to say a quick hello to my younger brother via Skype.

Remember Bargnani wants to become a Canadian citizen, so he has to spend even more time here. With the lamentable state of the Eurozone economy, shifting over here semi-permanently makes a lot of sense on multiple levels. Plus, the Olympic qualifying tournament is in Venezuela of all places - a truly stupid idea from FIBA, somebody must be getting their pockets lined by Chavez. So being in the same time zone will minimize the adjustment. Lithuania is training in Houston next month for that reason, not sure about Italy.
