I'll reserve my judgment for playoffs 2012 until after the ECF and/or Finals are played out. I chalk this series victory up to Wade and LeBron's heroics. Heroics won't be enough against the teams remaining, which means coaching will be all the more important. Spo should go if we don't win it all this year. No excuses about chemistry and whatnot like last year - Bron and Wade are totally in sync and couldn't be playing any better together.

@MiamiHEAT
.@KingJames: Coach Spo from Game 3 on made some unbelievable adjustments. He coached a spectacular series.

Doesn't change my opinion.

Here is my thinking about the adjustments. Spo has messed up on numerous occasions. I think the constant trapping is counterproductive and it makes no sense to double non threats 20 feet from the basket. That being said, Spo made great adjustments in this series and the best one was in the 4th quarter when Vogel had adjusted to wade by trapping on the pick and roll! Spo allowed Wade to penetrate one on one from the top no pick except the one from Lebron which is what we should do all the time! He also really stayed calm during the chaos!

I have been one of Spo's top critics but i have to give props to Spo & Riley they got it done in that series so far at least. Really overall Wade, Lebron & rest of guys stepped up big time. With Wade & Lebron maintaining play like these last games and Haslem/ Bosh comeback for ECF/Finals no team should beat us just like Indiana coach said it last night. UNSTOPPABLE!

Spo is a slow ass adjuster.

He can't adjust in games but he can adjust after sleeping on it...which is stupid as hell.

So you expected us to lose Bosh and just keep the train rolling like nothing happened?

Amazing isn't it.

And in a 7 game series it's all about adjusting between games.

In every series in last year's playoffs and so far in this year Spo has made the necessary adjustments after losses. It should also be noted that the coaches he faced - Doug Collins, Doc Rivers, Thibs, Woodson, Vogel couldn't make those adjustments in between games to beat us after we had adjusted.

The only series that we were beaten was by Carlisle and the Mavs and that was down to some lights out shooting which were outlier as much as adjustments made by Carlisle.

Still, I'm preaching to the unconvertible heathens.

.........

Really yes lets wait 2 games and lose and then adjust?

Really?

Last year he did the same crap over and over and attempted to adjust in the on the elimination game in the Finals.

This year he watches his team get their asses kicked and was like

"Ok let me go ahead and do something different because this is obviously isn't working."

Spo takes forever.

The funny thing is, he really went back to how they played in the beginning of the season.

That's all he did, it wasn't even a real adjustment. It was just " Maybe I need to go back to how we played when Lebron was going HAM."

And they went HAM.

So it was like this...Spo was doing good in the beginning...then he changed the offense and the rotation and then Spo was doing bad and getting by...enter playoffs...destroy the lolKnicks...Bosh gets injured...watched team get punked...went back to the offense of the beginning of the season.

Spo supporters...your boy is extremely idk...he is just damn weird.

I don't get it, maybe he is a savant and he has ways that I don't understand.

But he gets outcoached last year...then he changes the offense during the offseason...then he changes it midseason to crap...then he goes back to the offense he put in the beginning...

WTF

All I know is god forbid the Heat lose two-three in the coming series and everyone will say

"We got by because Wade & LbJ went beast mode, it had nothing to do with Spo"
Stop being so disrespectful.

I get on Spo when he does badly, but he deserves credit for helping to turn this series around. Keep it up Spo.

This is my issue with this board in general. People get too high on the highs and too low on the lows. Spoelstra has done a solid job this series, nothing more and nothing less. Let's be happy about it and give him credit where credit is due while also not losing sight of things. We still have a long way to go to our elusive goal of winning this franchise's second championship and Spoelstra, more than probably anybody, will continue to be tested and be an essential part to this team's success.

The biggest adjustment offensively from Spo was scrapping the BS motion plays for Wade and getting straight to the high pick n roll he's done since Spo's been here. I'm glad he and Wade both recognized when it was his time to lead the offense that's what needed for Wade.

Defensively I was glad to see that there was finally more pressure being put on the passers! Finally!!! Now if we come out and play scared against Rondo and give him all the passing lanes he wants and let him get a running start for layups.... Boy... But finally I saw all out pressure from this defense!!! And sometimes guys were too locked into their one on one matchups, but I like the fact that they stuck with that and figured out the rotations that still needed to be had if a guy got beat off the dribble.

Decent adjustments... Not great... But decent...

Oh yeah... I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that Spo finally going off on Wade didn't play a huge factor in turning this thing around! I'm sure he was just doing it for game 3 in particular, but this might just but Wade on notice throughout the playoffs! Maybe....
