It sounds like he is more on the fence then anything but it has a lot to do with Dragic.

Said this in another thread:

We knew going into the off-season that it keeping both Lowry and Dragic probably wasn't going to happen. Lowry's comments don't really change much. He was more likely to be moved anyway, as with Dragic being an UFA, we have little to no trade leverage with him.
It would suck to see us move Lowry, but it will probably have to happen, which again is something we knew going into the off-season.

Also, be prepared for the Lowry for Gasol trade threads.

I'm not the drinking game commish, but since any revisited Gasol trade is one drink, I'd propose any trade with Gasol in-coming as the main piece and Lowry out-going as the main piece is two drinks.

No big shock, really. We don't have room for both of them.

So just like that we turning our back on Lowry??? But anyhow, I hope we get some good players in return. Kevin McTrash sucks ass and needs to go first.

Trade him to New Orleans or some other scrub team for their lottery pick... Resign Dragic... Problem solved...

Done & done. Goodbye everyone!

And yeah, we're about to see multiple threads with the mentality of "oh, Houston has to trade him now so his value is lower...here's some crap!"

I don't see Mr. Asset being the type of GM to take a lesser deal because on of his pieces isn't happy right now.

as a portland fan, i would like having lowry, problem for you guys is that these type of statements typically cause their trade value to torpedo.

Don't get me wrong here, because i don't think this equals Lowry's value, but i think the 11th pick and Nolan smith would probably suffice, because his value has been lowered most likely by the trade demands. maybe not though

No Morey is a smart man. What he'll do is first try to pull off his targets in order, going down the list.

Let's say 1. Howard 2. Gasol 3. Gortat

I see this situation turning out well for Houston. The ideal situation for them is to have Kendall Marshall as the backup PG (who can play with Dragic) since he'd be locked into a 4 year deal that's perfect for the Rockets. He should be picked right around the mid-teens.

Use Lowry to get back whatever you can.

I will put Gortat ahead of Gasol.

I would disagree with you there and point out Gasol's game without Bynum but that said here's the more interesting part for L.A.

Dragic is the better player for L.A. so maybe Dragic gets moved in a S and T with Houston picking a big backup PG in the first round.

Want a center rather then another PF. That PF spot is for D-mo as far as I concerned.

i gotta go eat soon so ima be short. dont want a pf, need a center. as for the center, im ok with keeping camby and dalembert. if we're not gonna contend, we should aim for the playoffs and see what we could do there. i wouldnt call it a lateral move. after 2 years of makin the playoffs, we could finally attract some big free agents.

but i definitely dont want gasol on this team. too many cons, that 19mil contract for 2 years, he doesnt even wanna go to houston.

Lowry and Dalembert for Joakim Noah?
Derrick Rose is expected to miss 8 to 12 months after surgery so CHI could definately use Kyle.
Omer Asik is a RFA and they expect to match and retain him so Noah might be available.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming
