I haven't been catching up with a lot of this, but is it safe to say that Dwight's days in Orlando are done?

Darn man, if so that's quite the bummer. Really would want him to turn the ship around with our new FO and coach

I can see the magic working with any team that lands that top pick somehow. But how many teams are willing to give up Anthony Davis? I think that NJ would be the only team since they could trade Davis for Dwight and know that they get to keep Deron.

they are talking 3 way....with possibly bynum to cavs dude...

Oh, that changes things, still don't think it would happen.

Yup.

Unless he fell in love with Kyrie haha.

-5% chance anything with the Cavs happens........unless they get that #1 pick then it bumps up to 5% chance

It stays at -5%, why would the Cavs trade Anthony Davis and potentially stop a damn dynasty from happening with Kyrie&Davis ? They would be crazy to do that.

I don't buy it. I don't believe that we've decided anything without having at least a GM in place. Especially with Alex Martins, who doesn't know much about basketball operations, running the show.

If the cavs don't get the #1 pick, I see them doing this. It would be a really good deal for us too....Thompson has some upside and it's a strong draft; plus we get rid of Hedo.

However, if they get the #1, I think they keep it.

We should really pursue Lowry.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
#Magic fans should monitor Larry Bird's situation w/ #Pacers. If Bird retires, Donnie Walsh would prefer the #Pacers.

Josh Robbins ‏@JoshuaBRobbins
As of late Friday, the #Orlando #Magic had not asked the #Lakers for permission to interview GM Mitch Kupchak.

Agreed, but not sure how much they want for him. May be better off drafting a pg at 19 & developing him.

& that Incarcerated Bob guy brought up a Sheridan article in his little argument hahahaha so we can all put that rumor to bed.

Hmmm, Thompson and a top 3-5 pick is very interesting ( I'm sure there would be a few other interesting young pieces coming our way as well ). I'm on board if Meer and J Rich are gone in another deal. Full blown rebuild if Dwight has to go please

The only names I heard that really encouraged me are Walsh and Pritchard, and to a lesser extent, Kupchak. Those are 3 guys who I think can instantly bring credibility to the team and sell Dwight on a future. I don't see Dwight taking well to Bower and nor do I think he is a good GM.

I don't like it either. I don't think Thompson is going to be as good as people believe. But I also think the rumor is bogus. I think all rumors regarding Dwight are bull until we get a GM and Dwight talks with him.

I have this gut feeling that next week (maybe as early as the day after Memorial Day), we could get an announcement about our new GM & P.O.B.

I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.

That's a solid starting 5, especially if we take a pretty good SF.

I don't love it, but I like it more then Lopez/Brooks, Bynum (don't think the Lakers would add Gasol. Plus Bynum/Gasol did not do a whole lot for the Lakers this year with a guy like Kobe), Amare/Chandler or anything the Rockets can offer. Thompson is not even a center, but him and say a guy like Bradley Beal has me more excited then the other scenarios that were discussed.

Hell I'd be happy if you yanked Dwight and threw in Thompson and Bradley Beal. Big time money the next year in free agency, plus a likely lotto pick. Sign me up

@VGOSWAMI @MOM I'm not too thrilled with the Tristan idea either.

TERRENCE ROSS, this guy can be had with the 19th, is athletic, can shoot the 3, hard worker.

Also has great length and is a great defender
