I'd laugh my ass off if Telly Hughes ended up being the PBP guy

Sad to read that Hanne is no longer the PBP guy. I really liked him.

I really liked the team of Hanne and Pete. I hope they find somebody just as good. So many PBP guys in the NBA are incredibly annoying.

Compared to other team's broadcasts, Hanneman and Peterson were really good.
They were my favorite league pass announcing team along with Breen-Frazier in NY. Totally non-homerish and fun to listen too..You can't get any better than that.

I just wish my GSW nightmare would end..We have the worst pbp guy in league history..Any chance you guys can steal him away from us? :eyebrows:

Wow, I never knew he had so much support here. I have never liked Hanneman, for a variety of reasons.

I do really like Jim Pete. Hopefully they can look outside the media market and pull somebody in who has good basketball chops. There's got to be tons of College announcers on regional stations around the country who would love to make the jump.

Thought Hanie and Pete were a good combo. Better than most of the tandems out there in the NBA.

Not sure what I'd think of PA. Could be entertaining, could be an epic disaster.

I'm not too big on Hanneman. Don't hate him, just don't think he's anything too special.

I did like when Jim Pete would be getting a little too worked up for an adult about something ridiculous like the Light 'em up game, and you could hear the strain in Hanne's voice because he wanted to comment so bad but he was too much of a pro to call out his partner on the air. I'll miss those moments.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

Sounds like PA doesn't have a lot of fans here... but I wouldn't mind seeing him get the job if it meant he would start caring more about the Wolves and discussing them on his show more. I'm not a huge PA fan but I do think he brings the type of energy to the PBP that we haven't had since we lost Harlan.

I think he started talking Wolves more this past year...the Rubio effect I guess.

Any chance we could get the Nets' PBP guy? Those guys are awesome.
