His voice is disgusting, and sounds more intelligent and cheesy than I thought he was

Holy f'k, Bob.

(I always wanted to punch him in the face after he cried and cowered from Cro-Cop.)

To be fair Cro Cop fractured his freakin orbital bone, which is one of the most painful injuries you can suffer in the ring. Josh Barnett had a similar reaction when Cro Cop broke his, and he's tough as nails. Sapp was still a beast back then, he was fresh off of beating beating Ernesto Hoost twice in K1 and had one of the most memorable matches ever with Big Nog. He still had that King Kong aura going on

diaz broke his orbital bone and ended up gogo'ing the #1 fighter in the world! everyone is built different. Bob Sapp isn't about that life.

The amount of high-level martial artists that smoke out is pretty..... high. :D

Roy Nelson going off on Zuffa, PED's, money, and a ton of other stuff.
In an interview on Youtube with Helwani, he casually said that if he has to go Jose Canseco, he will.

Seemed like he might be referencing old training partners and opponents. (Mir?)

After that, I have to think that Roy is one loss away from being cut from Zuffa.

Nonetheless, I hope he beats Big Hairy and that he can shed some more light on what's going on.

Steroids are for pussies. And once you take them, you'll always need them to get back to where you were mentally. And that's harsh because I do admire fighters that have nailed int he past, I just think it says something about where you think your game is at mentally.

Then again, not everyone is Herschel Walker

Just got around to watching it. Dude actually challenged Ariel to a fight.

It reminded me of one of those old 80's WWF promos with Mean Gene because of Sapp's campy persona. Chael makes some pretty outlandish statements, but we all know he's an intelligent guy and that there's a method to his madness. Sapp on the other hand is legitimately out of his mind. Don't get me wrong, it still made for good lulz.

I remember Goldie saying "And THERE is the beautiful Arianny" as if she wasn't there before. Makes sense now.

Dana hinted hard that something's up between the UFC and Brock. Brock apparently does not otherwise attend fights.

Was thinking of making a thread on this, but probably won't unless we get any more info. For those curious though, Brock was there, and Dana was asked if he could return at the presser...

"yea...possibly."

I love how Ariel incorporated the Bob Sapp laugh at the end of the intro music for The MMA Hour.

I thought he only shaved it after losses for a new beginning?

Not necessarily solely after losses. He just said it's a reset button for him to start fresh. The last time he shaved it was after the Condit fight.

Dan needs a chance to string together some wins again and get some confidence back.

Big fan, just concerned that because of his appeal, Zuffa will throw him in there against someone too hot for him at this point.

They were throwing Diego Sanchez vs Hardy in Nottingham, that makes sense.

I like him too. Punks are under-represented in the sport.

Sanchez is a good fight. I'm glad he got the victory, just not glad that it likely means the end of Bang who was awesome to watch when he was allowed to go off.
