Re: trade targets for our pick?
I would say keep the pick and use it to convince sign deron williams here to a max deal
or trade the pick + diop to LA and pickup bynum for the lulz
it's not worth trading down for multiple picks unless we package it with thomas or diop

Derron has already said he is going to follow Dwight where ever he goes like a horny hound dog after a b'h in heat.

I would rather trade for multiple picks, and sign bynum as a free agent... for the lulz

If we trade down and get Harrison (next Glenn Rice ?) and Austin Rivers (Next Stephon Curry ?) it might be worth it.

Re: trade targets for our pick?
If we get pick #1, short of a stupid rich crazy fat offer, I keep it.
If we get #2, I take Robinson unless getting a boatload offer. To me Davis and Robinson are as much a sure thing as you'll get for possible stars in this draft. If we slip to #3 or 4, I examine every option relative to getting multiple picks, or a lower lottery pick and a player of value.
This draft has some depth, but very few impact players. Somebody is gonna fall hard for Drummond, and he's likely available at 3 or maybe even 4. He's got too much bust potential for me. We get more in trade if the lust factor is high.
Here's an interesting question: If we get 1 and the Wiz get #2, what would you be willing to take from them to switch spots? If we got an extra pick and a player to move down 1 spot and still get Robinson, I'd have to seriously consider that.

Short of Wall, who I cant see them ever giving up, they really dont have much that appeals to me.
I dont think Vesely is worth moving down for.

Wall isn't enough for me to give up the Brow. I would only give up the Brow for Bron, Durant, and Love. We are talking about potentially the next KG here.

Hell no. No one on that Wizards roster is worth giving up Davis. Not even Wall + Vesely.
investigate Adam Silver

Re: trade targets for our pick?
Its probably moot because, as mentiomed, I dont think they'd be willing to give up Wall, but, if they offered Wall+Vesely+Thomas Robinson (the #2) for Brow, I think you would at least have to stop and look at it.
I'm not certain I'd pull the trigger but it would warrant very strong consideration. Wall is the #1 pick himself who is only 21 years old and just finished averaging 16 prs 8 assists and 1.5 steals as a sophmore. He lit us up for 16/14/5 when they steam rolled us in the last game of the season and in the previous game vs. Kyrie Irving he posted 21/13/7/7 and was only 3 rebounds and 3 steals short of posting a quadruple double.
The only thing his game is lacking is the outside jumper. When he adds it, watch out.
Robinson is no Anthony Davis but he is no slouch either and should be a low double double guy and Vesley is a young lotto pick on a rookie deal.

No way the Wiz give up Wall. I think he is one of the top three points in the league right now and the Wiz plan to build their franchise around him.. Also Somebody posted Davis is the next Love, Lebron etc..Not even close!
Sorry.. If we draw #1 Wednesday night yes we take Davis, but we still got a long ways to go.

Re: trade targets for our pick?
Well, Wednesday is nearly here, and the chatter about possible trades are totally relative to our pick position and the situation of other teams. It is pathetic how often the worst team does not receive the @1 pick in the lottery. Statistics that demonstrate such a disparity indicate a flawed system. The league should have modified the % for the worst teams before now to make the odds more relative of reality.
Maybe the fix is in. Think about it. How many times has the worst team won the top pick (since 1985) versus a team getting the top spot and gaining the "storybook" player for their team (LeBron in hometown Cleveland, Rose in hometown Chicago, etc.).

Not sure why you're bashing on Williams, but that's wrong. Williams is a FA, Dwight isn't. Williams wants to sign a contract before the Olympics. If Dwight can get traded to the Nets before that, I'm sure it would make him stay, but that's unlikely, so he'll probably choose his team before Dwight gets a new team.

Cavs fan request : swapping #2 for #4
HI everybody! Cavs fan here!
Let's make this clear : I love Bradley Beal to pair with Irving and I believe the Wizards are gonna take him. SO I wanted to know what do you guys think you might want in order to swap our picks!
A little thinking : it seems like most of you guys want T Rob, which I believe is a pretty good fit for you (we just drafted Thompson, don't need T rob). We swap picks, take Beal. Wizards are already stacked with PF so I think they pass on T-rob and take MKG (they need high character player, and he fits John Wall transition game). That leaves you with Robinson at 4, the same player you wanted (and in case the wizard grab him, you get MKG, not bad either...)
Now the difficult part : what do you think would get it done? Here are a couple assets we have that you guys could be interested in :
- 24th pick
- 33th and 34th pick
- Future sacramento pick, heavily protected (basicly, top 14 this year, then it goes down one slot every year until 2017, when it becomes a 2nd rounder if sacramento has failed to get out of top 10 for 5 years, which is highly unlikely with the young core they have)
- Anderson Varejao (3 yr / 21mil approximately, averages a double double, plays all nba defense, high characer, hustle player, plays winning basketball but is injury prone. He's played in the finals and could be a great mentor to all your players, especially Biyombo who looks like a more athletic version of AV)
- Walton's 6mil expiring (**** player, but high character and has rings)
And then we have some miami picks as well as ours.
My take on the matter?
You send #2, we send #4 + sac pick + 34th. I think AV is too good just to move up 2 slots. If you want AV, you'd have to send us a player as well (Mullens?)
What do you think about it? Let's try to act like real gm's, no bias (I tried, maybe I failed)
