Ok. I still wouldn't do that trade because I'm not convinced we'd get a player at 7 or 8 that will be as good as Klay and next year's draft looks much weaker and I think we'll have a much lower pick anyways.

I say let's roll the dice unless Myers wants to guarantee we keep the pick because he's packaging it for a star.

Utahs chances of receiving the pick (28%) is the same as Troy Tulowitzki's chance of getting a base hit In his next at-bat (.281). Don't know if we should let the ping pong balls decide this.

Why GSW really wants to have 7th pick this draft and are willing to make a "safe" trade with UTA to get it 100% not 72% as the odds are now?

I think there must be some prearranged trade in works of trading that 7th pick for a very good SF. Iguodala is one player I see GSW wanting to get and 7th pick in a deep draft may be enough. Off course in that scenario PHI would have to take a bad contract like BIedrins or Jefferson or a combo of Wright/Rush to make it work.

Iguodala is the perfect fit at small forward..That gives us two top tier defenders to go with Lee, Curry and Stone Cold Klay Thompson. Also Iguodala is a great finisher on the break, something we desperately need. He's also a playmaker who's suffered through years of terrible spacing in Philly..Here with GS, Iggy would thrive having two laser beam shooters and a superb offensive PF

lol @ the people saying that we dont deserve the pick. Look at the Warriors schedule, compare the rosters, check the game stats. The Warriors almost won A LOT of those games that they supposably 'Tanked', & mind u we were starting 1 undrafted rookie center, a 2nd round rookie PF, Richard Jefferson, a 1st rd Rookie SG, and a 2nd round Rookie PG. 4 ROOKIES! SO WHO WAS REALLY TANKING?! People talk about the Warriors as if the personally witnessed the 'tank'. Uve probably never watched a Warriors game in your life.

If the Warriors are to trade the pick, they need to keep the #30 because next year's pick is still in flux. This "trade" will not include SA's pick because that defeats the whole purpose of the trade. They ahve a trade for a veteran player lined up involving the lotto pick and need SA's pick to complete the trade.

They can get around that pretty easily. They can agree to the trade with another team before the draft and then make the selection for that team. That way they're not really trading their pick but instead trading the rights to a player.

Poor memory. Klay was playing like crap that game.

We had no players. Claiming we *should* have won anything, and sabotaged ourselves is a bit of a reach. Even if you're right, if the big evidence that we "tanked hard" is that we didn't play a rookie who was shooting badly in the 4th quarter, I can sleep at night with that.
