Josh Cohen predicts KG will be in Orlando next season to team with Dwight. Link is on the Orlando Magic Twitter. Would post the link but I'm on my phone.

Everyone in the media and on twitter is saying those GMs or assistant GMs can interview with the Magic. It is possible to hire them, pretty sure they'd stay with their team for the rest of the playoffs, then come over to Orlando, but if it's an assistant GM, you'd think he could just up and leave and wouldn't effect the franchise. IDK

Rules are rules i guess, the quicker we hire a GM, the better, i have a feeling that Brooklyn are getting a top 3 pick, and if so, we would probably trade them Dwight, so give me and OKC or SAS guy since they really know how to draft and by trading Dwight we would be going in full rebuild mode

BTW, we have Liggins at 2 and i think he will be our backup 2. (Jrich or JJ will be gone, IMO).
+1 we don't lack scorers I like liggit better anyway.

Yes, we can talk to them, but we need to ask for permission and so far there is no reports about it.

KG here would be really cool, maybe we could SnT Ryan for KG? We could even trade Jrich for something else and bring Ray Allen too.

Jrich for Darko
Trades Ryan to Boston for KG and brings Ray Allen
Sign Flynn to be our backup PG

Nelson / Flynn
JJ / Ray Allen / Liggins
SF rookie / Hedo / Clark
KG / BBD
D12 / Darko

Pipe dream, huh?

Alex will hire Bower even though he shouldn't. That's just how we roll.

He's not bad, but he's probably the worst candidate out there right now. Would much rather hire Weaver or Pritchard.

I just had to search back in my history, I knew I'd seen we'd gotten permission somewhere. We're OK to interview Weaver and the Spurs approval is "imminent" as of the 27th.

The Orlando Magic reportedly is eyeing executives with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs for its vacant general manager position.

Magic officials hope to interview Thunder vice president and assistant general manager Troy Weaver and Spurs assistant general manager Dennis Lindsey, Yahoo! Sports reported Sunday.

Already, the Magic has received permission to talk to Weaver as well as Oklahoma City assistant general manager Rob Hennigan, who previously worked with the Spurs. Yahoo! reported the Spurs will approve Lindsey's interview very soon.

The Chandler for Okafor trade?
Poor drafting record, with the exception of Collison.
Trading Aldrich for Pondexter?

Bower has more good moves than he does bad, granted, but there are far, far better options out there.

Not to mention wanted to trade CP3 when he worked for the Hornets...I don't like our odds of keeping D12 if he's hired (doesn't cater to Superstars), he seems like a no non sense guy aka John Gabriel

What GM's like that don't realize is you take significant steps back to better your team when you piss your superstars off...considering if your RDV you want a championship ASAP being 85 yrs old, you have to put personal egos aside and do what's best for the franchise if you wanna win!

Turned CP3 and D.West sour on NOH. Doesn't seem like a good fit for a team trying to keep their best player who's contract ends the following year.
