Doubt it. Webster + Williams is good value coming back and Webster can be waived for even more cap relief. Iggy will be due over $30 million over the next two seasons and until his contract is moved, they'll remain mediocre. It's best they move his contract now to get a young player with upside and let Evan Turner takeover the team. They can go after a FA big this summer or next. Also, with Brand only having one more year left on his contract, they can have a down season to get a top 10 pick to add to the core of Holiday, Tuner, Williams, Young? and have over $25 mil in capspace (before they re-sign Holiday).

Indiana - Maybe something based around Paul George, but I'm iffy on this one
Philly - Iggy and a future unprotected 1st
Lakers - Nothing I'd want
Knicks - Nothing I'd want
Sacramento - Their 1st if it's in the top 3

Agree with most of that, although I wouldn't be iffy at all on trading for George.

I said Granger because there's no way we're getting George for Williams.

If we strike out in free agency then maybe. But Cap space + our team + our coach should bring us a good free agent wing.

I would rather go for a player like Biyombo or Seraphin at backup C than trade him for a vet wing on a high salary. Or maybe Eric Gordon + Okafor for D Williams + Johnson + pick(s) + good filler... or something like that. The Wolves window for a championship is in 2-6 years, not next year. We still need time to grow as a team, and we need younger veterans not older ones.

I'd trade him for any of the below. I realize he would not net us many of those names and thus the Bold ones likely being the more only realistic options.

Indiana - Granger, George, or Hibbert
Philly - Turner or Iggy
Lakers - Bynum
Knicks - Chandler or Melo
Sacramento - Evans, Cousins, or 2012 #1

Indiana - Paul George
Philly - Lou Williams and Spencer Hawes
Lakers - They actually have nothing of value....if they would take scraps with DW, I would take Pau
Knicks - They again, have nothing. Shumpert was the only promising young guy, but he just blew out his knee
Sacramento - They would have to provide a pick and maybe some Jason Thompson. Evans isn't really good, even with the ball in his hands a ton.

I would like the deal with Philly the most. We would get a decent big to put behind Pek, giving us two quality big men..despite them having certain flaws to their games. And Lou Williams can fill it up and would be a good starting SG here. We'd still be F-ed at the three spot because Wes is hot garbage, but we could use the rest of our cap and the 18th to cover that.

Both are free agents

In that case, is Lou Williams someone we should look at in FA? He fits the ball-handling SG mold that Adelman likes, and is better than Jamal Crawford.

I'd pass. I'd rather put Ridnour or Barea at SG since they're already on the roster.

Eeesh. I will be pretty disgusted if any of those players are the starting SG next season.

Likewise with Lou Williams.

Lou Williams is very underrated. We could do a lot worse than him at starting SG.

Good thing S&T deals are a legit option in the NBA :D
And sorry, for SG purposes, Lou Williams is better than both Ridnour and Barea. He's bigger and faster than both, and is absolutely a more explosive scorer. Ridnour should not play two guard anymore unless were going up against a three guard offense. Both he and Barea only have one good defensive trait respectively....he strips balls occasionally and JJ flops, outside of that, they get burnt every possession. Lou Williams isn't a ton better, but guess what, he is an upgrade. Same thing with Hawes. I think he sucks personally...however, he's light years ahead of Darko, and more dependable than AR at this point. Adding those two guys solves three of our biggest problems....starting SG and backup big....the only thing left to knock out would be the quality starting SF.
