With the 278th Pick in the BAT 7.0 Draft, the Detroit Pistons Select...

DANIEL GIBSON

Needed a consistent threat from deep, got a career 42% 3 point shooter in the 26 year old Daniel Gibson. We'll look for Boobie to give us a 3 point specialist that can expand the floor for our other offensive threats...and to serve as a 3rd string point. We expect Gibson's scrappy play and great energy to be a plus coming off the bench.

With the addition of Jason Smith, the Cavaliers continue to build their team's size and strength. Smith's most recent season with the Hornets highlights his value; he will be even more effective coming off the bench. The Cavaliers are glad to have the 7-footer on board.

pretty sure he was picked a while ago..

With the 279th pick in the BAT 7.0 Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select:

PF Brandan Wright

In Brandan Wright, the Cavs have themselves one of the most efficient backups in the NBA. His defensive prowess, on-court ferocity, high basketball IQ and favorable size-to-speed ratio make him a valuable addition to the team.

with the 280th pick in the BAT 7 draft, the Wizrds select:

Dhantay Jones.

Image

The man knows his way around the defensive side of the court; Jones is the one guarding all of the best scoring guards and small forwards on the opposing teams. He has greatly improved his offensive efficiency as well, increasing his Per36 PPG (17.3 last season) and 3PT% the past 3 years. He's the unsung defensive hero, both feared and envied by all opposing teams. Welcome aboard Mr. Jones.

P.S. Oh, and he's a cheap date as well, taking in less than $3 million, deserving much more for all he brings.

Blazers select HC Lionel Hollins

Memphis last season ranked #5 in opp ppg as well as ranking#7 overall in def efficiency. Lionel likes his teams to play D, Play the passing lanes, and score in transition. This team is built perfectly to do so(With 4 of the starting 5 all being very good defenders). Memphis were in the lower half of scoring, but with rubio manning the point, it is highly likely that the teams assist numbers rise with his ability to create for others and this team should have no problems scoring with the amount of offensive firepower surrounding Rubio.

with the sissy skipped 285th pick in the BAT 7 draft, the Wizards select:

Charles Jenkins

Image

the man is 6'3, and, although scored 2,500 points in college, is one of the better passing PG in the league. overlooked by many teams (44th pick in the 2011 draft), charles brings height, and ingelligence to the team.

Per36 stats: 12ppg, 7 apg, 1 spg, and 45% FG, which is unheard of for a rookie PG in the NBA.

As per Draft Express: trailed only kyrie irving in TS% (True shooting %) and EFGP (Effective FG %) in the 2011 draft, which speaks to his tremendous shooting ability, as well as his shot selection: 23ppg in his senior year of college, while only attempting 14.5 FGA :o. Jenkins also ranked in the top-10 for running the PnR, and in the top 25 for spot up shooting ability.

although he may not be starting capable yet, the man improves each game, and has tremendous upside.
