People mentioning Leonard as a good choice I want nothing to do with him. Zeller will be a much better pro.

the zellers will be nice back ups on contending teams, and as it sits right now we arent real close to that anymore. id rather go for potential with a drummond/leonard than mediocre with the zellers

if it were me i would be drafting the best possible defensive anchor for the 5 and i would go drummond/melo/leonard/ezeli probably in that order

I don't know why, but I am feeling extremly optomistic that the Blazers will get lucky and get a top three pick

I think on this board it's just you. Unless that elsewhere is Portland.

Tyler Zeller, sure. Cody Zeller is already better than his brother, and will be a starting center in the NBA. A good starting center at that. NBAdraft.net already has him going #1 in next years draft. I don't think that will quite stay, but he'll be top 5. He dominated Anthony Davis when they played in the tournament.

Today is one of those days were u don't want to...but you can't help but dream big. If we somehow won this draft lottery we could start thinking championships again. A. Davis/Batum/LMA would be one of the longest most agile frontcourts in history. I know what the odds are, I just feel like maybe we deserve this one.

For me, I will have slight anxiety when approaching the first 4 picks announced... After that, i'll be crossing my fingers that the Nets pick stay around 6.

I like the potential of Leonard, but I don't know if 11 is the right place for him. I am envisioning a trade down with the Rockets involving Lowry/14 OR 16 and a combination of our pick(s) and/or players.

That would give the Blazers a known veteran PG and a C, but at a lower cost. Aside from other fans disagreement about Leonard's value is the obvious problem that anther team will over draft him before the Blazers have a shot at him if they trade down.

They count down from 14, so you need everything to hold to form 14 thru 6. Unless of course the Blazers can jump to the top 3!

I think he's saying that the anxiety will be there for picks 14, 13, 12, and 11. Once/if the Blazers are called, then the anxiety goes away, disappointment sinks in, then just hope that the Nets name is called at 6th or 7th

Oh yeah, I see.

Frankly, I will be very nervous about every name called until I hear Nets at 6.

so my question is, if the nets pick is 4-whatever and goes to portland, do they put a blazer logo on it, or nets new logo, or the old logo??

so many important questions!

I think if everything holds to form than the 6 pick is a fairly easy choice as it seems like there is a consensus top 6-7 where Portland would take the remaining player from that group... What would be interesting is if we got the 2 or 3 pick. I would wonder what direction this team would go??

Of course let's just make it an easy decision and get the 1 and 6 right??
