All in all a good result but I'm a little greedy and would have preferred we would have
won the coin flip and ended up with the fifth pick.

Fans, yes.
Team, no.

They practically gave that pick to us for an opting out Gerald Wallace.

Happy with the two lottery picks. Not convinced either will play for the Blazers. :-?

I maintain that one of those top 5 teams will reach and let someone slide to Portland. My money is on Beal being available.

Would you guys consider trading both of your picks for either Washington or Cleveland's pick?

I doubt it. Depends on Charlotte.
They DO have Hendo at SG, but may feel he isn't half the player Beal could be. They're also stuck with TT for a few more years and Biyombo who wants to play C. Biyombo/Drummond would be great defensively, but they'll have NOBODY to put up points. Beal or KG has a good chance to go 2nd. Just really depends if Charlotte thinks Hendo could be their future guard.

I think WB is pretty close to how things will work out.

However, I don't think the Bobcats take Drummond. I think they go with MKG. A Drummond/Biymbo combo will be BRUTAL offensively. They'll play good D, but they'll struggle to average 15ppg combined.

Unfortunately with the Hornets winning, that does mean there's a good chance Beal goes to Cleveland. The Hornets would have passed over Beal since they have Gordon. I hope someone changes their mind, but a Irving/Beal backcourt is pretty sexy and they have zero need for Robinson with Thompson.

If I'm the Blazers and it falls like this, I take Barnes at #6. I think the UNC system wasn't the best fit for a player like him.

I agree, I like Barnes.. Then maybe a Marshall at 11 would be nice.

Congrats to you guys. I haven't been around these parts since the CP3 for Batum package or Okafor for Camby's expiring days.

I think T-Rob will go to Charlotte. He would add that scoring punch to their front-line, and that would be a physical combo. If not Robinson, then I think Charlotte goes for MKG who would replace Wallace.

I think Washington goes for MKG if Charlotte got Robinson and Drummond if MKG is not available. Robinson might be a good for them.

Cleveland would look at Drummond pretty hard IMO if MKG is off the board. They need a young guy to replace Varejao and they can put some hope on Irving getting more out of Drummond than he showed in college. Drummond/TT would be a good defensive line-up at the least. I think Cleveland already has some options at SG and Beal isn't a surefire star.

Sacramento might draft Drummond if he falls there, but Cousins/Drummond would have some questions. Still, they seem to go for high potential and that could be an elite front-court in a couple years. MKG wont fall to them, so maybe they reach for Barnes who might actually compliment Evans on the wing. Beal might work with Evans at SF. If the Bobcats didn't take Robinson, I think Sacramento might also look at him though he isn't exactly a need.

I don't see these teams reaching for anyone else
